Babylon 5 - "Who is the enemy?"

This advice rings so true in today's world, now more than ever, thanks to opportunistic politicians who continually strive to keep us afraid and hating each other, just like President Clark did on Babylon 5.

A little chat with a Vorlon can really change a person! ;-)

I guess my manger scene is a little different than most! ;-)
Orphan Black retro credits

I know the reference will be lost on all you youngsters, but they've been using split-screen technology for TV shows about "clones" since the 1950's (long before your parents were probably even born!)
Orphan Black clones

A list of all 13 known clones at the end of the 2nd season. I had to make this video to get them all straight in my head! It's still so hard to believe it's only just ONE actress playing all these different roles!
Babylon 5 - Kosh - "Touched by an Angel"

Have you been touched by a Vorlon?
Kosh really was Actually guiding the younger races towards a better future, while everyone else was playing God and forcing the younger races to kill each other and take sides.
Записал трактат, но стёр, чтобы не попасть в бан, но всё же - Поляки должны за свою жизнь на удивление - СССР, т.е. России.
"Because you have let them distract you. Blind you with hatred." Words that ring so true today.
Mose Village
Nearly 30 years on and this scene still remains poignantly relevant today.
Conroy Divide
A Vorlon talking about ending a repeating cycle of vicious violence is full of irony. I do wonder if he was actually aware of the futility of his people's own actions on some level.

On the road to Damascus. It's a great story theme. A very old one. Well done here.
To me the best part was when Sheridan recognized Kosh as Kosh and Kosh immediately responded. I felt like Kosh respected Sheridan at that moment
I still watch the original series daily. Star Trek was before it's time. It's not the same without the original cast. Unfortunately, William Shatner, Walter Koenig, and George Takei are the only ones left of the original cast. RIP to the cast who are with us in spirit only. LLAP
Hate is the sweetest poison. It kills you and your enemies. It is so easy to hate. But to forgive, that takes great strength. For once you forgive, you can finally heal and be at peace.
Mother Nature ❤
This particular 'I have always been here' hits so damn hard, tears every time
JMS for the President of the Earth Alliance
lol i hate the drazi
It's funny how this has certain parallels with recent events on this world
A reflection on conflict on our world if things got out of hand
"Honor my name." With what we see, was that G'Kar's father's death and final words to him, likely at the hands of the Centauri during the occupation? If so, that would explain a lot of why G'Kar was struggling to let things go, it was very personal for him and probably felt like he was betraying his father to even think about it.
Wish I could see this again for the first time. So much stuff happens in this episode of major consequence: Keffer tracking down the Shadows, the EA aligning with the Centuri, Night Watch extending its influence on the station, the major space battle that happens...but even after ALL of that...I don't think anybody was expecting Kosh coming out of his suit to save Sheridan...long last we get to finally see him. They'll never make a show as great as this one ever again.
Holy shit.... I remember seeing this on TV when it aired. My dad loved this show and I had to be like 8 or 9 years old.
G'Kar is my favorite character in Babylon 5. Such an incredible change from angry and revenge filled to a good loyal and honorable man.
Kosh is Handsome Squidward. Now you can't unsee it.
😂
What if the other side doesn't want to stop?
That’s the route of the problem.
This was a beautiful scene 😢😢❤
Обожаю этот сериал!!!
А что увидели вы? Ничего, я не увидел ничего.
I think that when Kosh says, "I have always been here." It also means that the being G'kar would become was always waiting for him to move beyond his hatred.
So many powerful lines in this scene, but what gets me every time is just G’kar breaking down and weeping; realising all the pain and suffering he has contributed to and what could have been avoided
I have always been here.
One of the most underrated sci-fi series ever. It took a while to find its stride, but when it did...
As much as I love this scene, Kosh does not return to his environmental suit but to his quarters, so who returned it to him becasue I doubt if Delenn would be strong enough.
Kosh appears as G'kars father and when kosh dies he talks to john S as his father Although mostly i feel it was tough love from Kosh
This is not where Kosh is revealed as he is still clad with the telepathic mask that makes each species to see a false image of a Vorlon. His true form is revealed in another episode.
Reminiscent of the movie "The Abyss."
When I first saw this episode and saw the camera pan up to show Kosh standing over them, and you realized Kosh was trying to help G'kar out and steer him on a better path vs him saying they should both just die off on the first episode...damn.
This was one of many scenes that left me awed. It would take a lot for anything to come close to how great this show was.
LOL those ASS special effects
It's not just what you do in life. It is also what you leave behind.
I wonder if the vorlons could see the future up to a point.
Babylon 5, like Doctor Who, knew how to resolve all its mysteries in a satisfying way. (Many episodes later we got to see the “real” Vorlon, and I still believe that was only an attack form whereas they’re actually energy beings).
"I have always been here". Reminds me so hard of David Bowman. ... I love it. 😀
More than Star Trek or Star Wars.. which I love.. Babylon 5 was on a whole other level.
Sneaky Vorlons, always trying to keep us from annihilating each other...
Until the moment they take out their planet destroyers and do it themselves....
Strange how much the aliens in The Abyss looked a lot like Kosh. A little different in the face, but the same wings and tail.
