First test and tune of the year with the blazer. 408 LS, magnuson 2650, 93 octane, 4l80e, full interior and fuel, 2nd gear leave due to faulty wiring on the 1-2 solenoid not engaging 1st.

408 with Magnuson 2650 hot rod. 4l80e. Rolling into throttle slow to get good data at lower rpm. Bad fuel pump caused a pressure loss up top and had to call it a day.

@@hardwick_performance I've been looking at the Hoosier 17's for mine. Did you ultimately choose the 315 vs 335 Hoosier, for the added rear gear with the smaller tire?
@@RedBird2.0 I ran the 335’s at first. Switched because I saw no added traction, probably because of the 11” rim, but they did weigh a little more.

I prolly get roasted lol... ... 1st congrats brO! That S10 is gonna hurt ALOT of feels. Your Z06 vids got me watching everything you post! Always killer content! So, the 60-130 times is insane! I see the title and wonder if the car was off? Or low boost? I see some radical hcic6z's with 4.5- 5.5 ranges. Wasn't your Z06 around 6.5? 60-130 . I ain't knocking man. He'll, fixna see if you got some merch lol
The C6 had a best recorded of 6.01 60-130, but that was on a pass .4 seconds and a couple mph slower than what it ran later so maybe it had 5’s in it. Most the mid 5’s you’ll see are only 2nd and 3rd gear shifts. I didn’t rev mine that high and would have an extra shift into 4th. The blazer 60-130’s I’ve recorded so far have either been spinning or not wide open throttle. So there’s a little room to improve with better traction and then maybe more with the tune. Once I get good ones I’ll post them. I posted the recent one just because it being so dark when the front end lifts was entertaining, at least to me.

It’s faster but not by much yet. Which makes the C6Z that much more impressive that I was doing almost the same 60’ times on stock suspension and 17” tires in it. Now that I realized I had no first gear on these passes and corrected that hopefully next time I can go much faster than the C6Z.
I’m trying be 1/2 as quick as you were with my c6z. They’re difficult cars to wrangle down

Turbo is for drag racers, they need all the boost the turbo has to offer, all the time in the world to properly built that boost, and a prep surface to actually hooked and make use of that power… In the streets, you need that instant power to run from any danger or road pirates.. But y’all don’t need turbo 1,000 hp street cars, most of yall always end up crashing your beautiful cars anyway… If you love speed and all the hard work that goes with it, do it right and stop endangering your self and specially the the rest of us safety.. I wish i had a 1991 350 v8 supercharged shortbed pick up truck limited up to 500hp.. My old beautiful one was completely stock, great and enough power to over take on the freeway, sounded amazing with the three inch exhaust piping along with high performance cats an super 10 flowmasters.. It sounded beautiful, not obnoxious but enjoyable… This mustang and challenger people built unsafe vehicles that sound great but are way to loud to the point that instead of letting the people enjoy the sound, it onky scares the shit out of us and is way to load … Call me old if you want.. but theres a threshold on sounding good and than just load for no reason at all..

I don’t remember what he runs but weren’t terribly far off. His reaction and 60’ time is a lot better though. Especially on a qualifying pass where I’m not worrying about reaction.
Nice runs! My Corvette is pretty close to stock. I can’t imagine having that much kick behind it.

That’s definitely the truth. I’ve had some other rides I modded more. I tried to do better when I got the Vette, but most of the stuff is cosmetic to make it look like I wanted it to. But it does have a few minor goodies…. Shifter, headers, exhaust, and tune.

That 60’ and you’re there. You should be able to knock it out with the right tire, pressure, and burnout routine then slip the clutch enough to not hit it hard but also not let it bog. If you want to make it easy get Kelltrac coilovers. My launches were 5,500 with a little clutch slip on the release. Not much just enough to not knock them loose

5,500 off the two step and as I release the two step button I’d also have to do a gradual clutch release rather than snapping it. Took some figuring out and coordination to fight that line between spinning, bogging, and burning the clutch.

The number of NA C6 Z's that Ive at the track are incredible. Ive seen a local guy (who I know), run an extreme heads/cam but an incredibly massive Co2 assisted nitrous and he could barely break 9's. This is bullshit at its finest
It took a few attempts before I saw 9’s. One day my final pass was 10.000 which is the most upsetting way to run a fast time missing your goal by .001. The 60’ is everything along with the trans rebuild I did making it a lot easier to not screw up a shift after a good launch.

For sure he definitely had the faster car up top. New build is definitely fun but winter seems to last forever
