This video makes me want to take out my Wisdom of Avalon oracle again. Looking at this comparison, I don't feel I need Mists of Avalon as well. Thanks for doing this comparison (I know it's been a year 😄) As to the Burden card, it makes sense to me. The release of burdens compared to the release of leaves by a tree in Autumn. Let go, leave behind what no longer serves you. And the dunes in the Protection card are protecting the land against being flooded by the sea. It took me a while to get there. I liked the guidebook from the start though 😍 Btw I don't know if you have a different edition, but I have the glossy edition and the colours seems to pop more in mine

When I saw (in someone's upcoming decks video) Woodland fairytales deck I've thought - from the few cards that were to be seen for preview - that I just have to have the deck because it looked a lot like fairytales I know (unlike worldwide tarot of the divine as you said) and the artwork looked great and all but when I saw someone's walkthrough when it came out, I don't like it that much anymore because quite a lot card assignments seemed "not right" for me (like in more than just this fairy tales themed decks I've seen the emperor from Andersen's fairytale as emperor and it seems so not fitting to me. Or here Alice as hierophant, that's weird). And I love the idea of having one story for the whole suit but it seems it's not in order of the story from ace to ten which bugs me (though one shouldn't care actually you don't get cards in order in the reading but still...). Also the court cards are bit weird. I guess it's explained in guidebook but when I see a fairytale that I know and it doesn't fit for the card in my head, then it would be just in the way. It's a pity I've thought it might be a perfect fairytale deck. I like there are plants involved as well, on the other hand it might be a bit forced in some cases. As for Cups suit, I saw (heard) someone (well I guess it was the walkthrough video so they must have got it from guidebook) saying what fairytale it is but I don't remember since it was something not known to me The pentacles suit looks like a fairytale about... oh, you found it in the guidebook :D. Well, that's good because I wouldn't know the english title anyway :) ) (I began to write the comment during watching already) Btw have you seen the other fairytale deck that was released recently? Once upon a time by... Lo Scarabeo I think. I didn't like that one more (mostly because artstyle probably - like I saw the artstyle is too much cartoony (well I don't mind cartoony style but that one is too much... fluffy I guess could be the word :D) - so I wasn't thinking much about the assignments of the cards), I just thought I'd ask you about that one as well.

Interesting deck! It reminds me of some deck (or even more than one) that I've seen somewhere - with the "primitive" (in a good way as you said) artstyle - and more generally (and very generally with its simplicity or kind of... amateurish and clumsy style) it reminds of artstyle that people often assign to inner child work though this one feels a bit more chaotic and with its content it feels more like for ancestors work than inner child (it kinda reminds of old paintings from early days of men). Well, it's not called "tribe tarot" without a reason I guess :)) But the arstyle really reminds me of some particular tarot, I wish I could remember what it was, if only to check if it's really similar style or just a vibe or so. Well, unless I came across it again in the future I guess I never find out. *shrugs*.

I love this! Archetypes are something I am just starting to get my head around. I have that Kim Krans deck, it's beautiful but I always feel a little over my head with how many cards are in it, and the trickiness of shuffling round cards. Fascinating to see the equivalent cards across different decks!

Nick Bankock's other deck is the River which I will be working with later this year. Caroline Myss has been evolving her concepts over time so her other literature may resonate more.

"Belonging" is a word I hadn't thought to associate with this card, that's lovely! The thing the Hierophant usually holds is called the Papal Cross, I think it is not commonly seen much today, but apparently denotes the rank of Pope. I've read that the 3 lines are "Catholic Church, Catholic World, Catholic Heaven", the realms of the pope's "power"; but Waite apparently may have intended them to mean Id, Ego and Superego, or Conscious, Subconscious and Superconscious. 5 beautiful choices again as always!

I get a really nice shuffle out of this deck... my daughter gave it to me. 🎉

I like the dragon too ☺ What a varied bunch of Emperors, thank you for showing them. Those "empty" ones with no figure in them are really interesting, I've never seen anything like that before!

The artstyle on these tarot cards is not quite what I would choose, but as for... how one says that... well the way the cards are done? (scenes or so) looks interesting. I'd love to see some deep dive type of video with this deck when you try to work with it. Otherwise - I don't remember how the previous boxes looked like but it feels kinda... random? Like a bunch of things that someone decluttered and sent away? (but they all look really nice and durable, nothing wrong about them)

"Robots. Set yourself free with wisdom." What? How is that related to robots? (moreover the one in the picture that seems to be offering bowl of sliced vegetables?) Some of the pairings of titles with keyphrases feel very random. Generally - like you said it's optimistic but sort of... too much? No matter how much I'd love for the Golden future coming to be true it sounds... too cosmical? I don't know how to say that. On the other hand lots of the keywords are just general "rules" related to ecologic life and environment and sustainability(is it the right word?) - like choosing locally grown food, ... I don't know there were more of these but I can't remember now - but together with this "higher frequency talk and vibes" it sounds a bit... like if they were saying - hey here's the greatest wisdom of all time - act ecologically. Bum, mindblown. You know what I mean? And together with the art moreover. About the art... I don't like it. It gives me the shivers and not in a good way. It's so shiny and golden and sparkly and cosmic energy stuff and... fussy (as overdecorated). I normally like shiny and sparkly stuff but this is just too much to me... ugh. Also it kinda reminds me of TV commercials with happy people with shiny teeth and magic touch and so on. It might look nice and magical but you just don't believe it. The truth is that I expected something like that only from the picture on the cover (except it was even worse lol). Nothing against the artist or people who like this sort of thing but not for me. About the author - one of my dragon oracles is by Diane Cooper (with beautiful art by Carla Morrow) and it's this sort of higher frequencies, cosmic energies sort of stuff as well, the dragons there are divided to some lower and higher levels and so on. I haven't worked with it much back there (I haven't touch it for a long time now) but since each dragon is assigned to some particular "field of life" or thing (or how to say that) I remember for some time I used it like "asking for a help to particular deity" having the card displayed (sort of) and this sort of thing. Well, in the guidebook it says "ask this dragon for help in..." but there's also lots of higher frequency cosmic energies babble and short messages on the cards as well. These cards (Golden future) are a lot more this babble and according to the pages you shown, I would have to focus hard everytime reading the guidebook and even this way I'm not sure I'd get what they're trying to say or it wouldn't really mean anything to me. Like nothing in particular or nothing new. If you know what I mean. (Oh gosh, I got carried away myself a bit didn't I? :D)

Is it just me or is it so that whenever there is "ancestors" in the title it's (mostly or all of them) either black people (not sure if that's the "correct" word nowadays, I don't mean it bad) or native americans? Nothing against them of course, just my thought. It's a strange deck anyway - it's called oracle but it's like Majors with Courts (plus some extras) and the Majors are very recognizably RWS inspired (or a clone directly, like I can clearly see Devil card or Moon card (and others) there). If it's meant to be aimed (is this the right word?) at other non-european cultures (which I guess is, according to the people depicted on the cards), why it's so clearly referring to RWS? Moreover in something that calls itself an oracle?? I mean - they can do whatever they want and surely have their reasons for this, but it just feels so weird and weirdly off to me...

It feels like a mash-up of theories and like it has been thrown together. The merkabah is the 'vehicle' (chariot) in Judaic thought... but here it seems like they have gone from the symbol to some other evolutionary spiritual development... Hmmm. Thanks for the walkthrough!

"Subscribe for golden future" I'd like that very much thank you :D. Ok, maybe doesn't have to be golden, little bit more white could do for a change... Anyway to the deck - thank you for showing it, it looks really very lovely! I'm not much into animal decks - it's usually either a portrait of an animal for a card (which feels too static for me) or it's animals more or less "forced" in tarot scenes which feels wrong (to me) and I haven't seen an animal tarot deck that I would want to (Tarot of tales is kind of "animals forced in tarot scenes too" but in there, there's the fairytale vibe to it, but first of all - as I mentioned before, it isn't what I expected and if I watched a full walkthrough first I most likely wouldn't buy it. Anyway, back to this one you showed today...), but this one looks really nice. I was laughing with you at some of the cards and the animals there aren't such "boring portraits of animals" as somewhere. I like the short message on each card (which gives this more of an oracle feel to be true... or an option to use just as an oracle, though the guidebook looks nice, how are informations to each cards there?) and I noticed court cards have extra keywords which is nice. The only thing that holds me back a bit (well except of the fact that it might not be in my favourite eshop, because I don't buy directly from abroad) is way too many dogs for my taste (on the other hand they don't seem so... how to say that... they don't seem to be pushed forward in a way dogs are nowadays in many places - you know like "every picture gets better with a dog" or "everyone wants to see cute dogs everywhere" (while basically any dog is considered "cute"), ugh.) (I'm sorry if you're a dog person, but from my point of view, there are just too many dogs everywhere (and with everywhere I mean around in real life as well not just in media). So yeah, we'll see. (like why not to add another deck to my potential wish list even if I have lots of decks I don't get to work with them "enough" already right? :D)

Great selection! I have none of these.... but I thought about getting the zombie oracle. It seems such a cool and down to earth deck! I looove the card with the brain and the text "use it!" What held me back from buying it is, that I barely use the Oracles I have, while I always go to my tarot decks all the time. So I'm not sure I should buy any other Oracle deck. Btw, the name of the creator is "Orsi" and her current channel name is "galaxy dreamer".
