We use Sherwin Williams High Solids Polyurethane and PPG Urethane.

The only paint on this court is the game lines. Those lines are painted with urethane paint.
What ball is used on a sport court surface?
We have tested several balls and all tested have met drop test rebound requirements and play well. However, the Onix 2 has the best ball rebound.
Is this a steel or aluminum frame back board? Does that matter when installing on wall?

Are you just laying tape for a single court or multiple courts?
I am a coach at one of these schools, and we are having issue with traction with the floor. What cleaning process do you recommed so that these floors are not as as slippery.
@filthyballer the floor should be cleane daily with a Court Clean drag mop as shown in this video: ua-cam.com/video/PhDYLlSypz0/v-deo.html DO NOT use a dry dust mop. Weekly cleaning should be done with an automatic floor scrubber. southtexassportcourt.com/product/nss-wrangler-2012/ Heavy berber rugs should be placed at all entrances to collect as much incoming dust as possible. southtexassportcourt.com/product/52oz-berber-entry-mats-vinyl-ramp/ The Sport Court® Maple Select gym flooring has a multi-layer urethane topcoat. It will have outstanding traction, when the floor is clean. However, if there is dust, the floor will be slick just like any other smooth surfaced floor.
What were you using to cut the tiles. I saw another video of yours where you used a utility knife but here it looked like some type of cutting tool
For straight cuts, we use a flooring shear. Both Roberts and Crain make flooring shears.

how to anchore court tiles
@rachelmason605, we don't have any video content or any other media related to anchoring. This is because anchoring is a real challenge due to the floor's thermal expansion and contraction. We have pretty much given up on anchoring. Thanks for asking though.

Are you installing this on a wood stud wall? Was it reinforced in any way?
In this particular case, the studs were 2x8s. Yes, we attach to wood studs all the time. When looking at the load chart provided by the manufacturer, each lag screw in the upper buckboard, is only carrying about 40 to 50 pounds.

What is the square foot cost for removing this type of flooring?
We don't do enough removal to have a set square foot price. We prefer to subcontract this portion to a floor prep company. This project was a couple years ago. I think the removal/disposal was around $10K
Can this flooring be put over existing wood gym flooring? and can it handle the wear and tear of roll out bleachers? We have a nearly 80 year old gym floor in DIRE need of repair
mad that backboard and rim wasn't replaced on that side hoop, also one was missing it's net. But a 10/10 job for you guys!
We actually did fix all the basketball goals, but not all were fixed before the floor was installed, so this didn't make it into the video.

How is the paint called?
At are church we switched building with a other church for some reason the metal string that helps support is onto the court because there is a garage door but there looks like are two beams that whole up and the poll goes into the brick wall of the church and the other side has longer string and that goal has it behind. I think there’s is a way to remove those metal wire from inside the court to behind the court.
