I think the end is way better than the original play. I like that we get to see the frogs and mice fight. I also love Xanthias' sacrifice enstead of him running off with a random dude. Also Heracles gets more screen time, nice. Overall, really great. 👍

By the way, is there any written text of this drama (in ancient greek) available online? I found the first line (Μῦς ποτὲ διψαλέος...) in "Βατραχομυομαχία".

I've never felt so close to history.

I’m getting hints of Italic, Germanic (particularly Old Norse), and Slavic in the overall sound. Mind, 2500 years ago, the beginnings of all of those, and Greek were much closer together than now.
