I hate to be that guy, but if you are a mobile detailer and the vehicle you use for mobile detailing breaks down, it's kind of a no shit that's a bad thing. It would be for anyone that relies on their vehicle for their business. I was expecting something going wrong relating to the detailing job itself as opposed to your car breaking down. This is a reality that ANYONE can possibly face that relies on their vehicle for business and common sense says you should be ready for that, and the information you give such as notifying clients that you are going to be delayed and keeping them informed is also common sense that anyone running a mobile business should have regardless of what they do. It's like saying your car got stolen that you use for your business, make sure you inform the police and your clients. Like I never thought of that! Not trying to mean, just keeping it 100.

hes 100% right . I'm on my 2nd week of actual professional launch of my detailing biz and I was worried bout having my own power and water so I sprung for generator and tank.. HOWEVER almost every house I go to people ask if I need their water or electricity. if you don't have the $ for that stuff don't be scared. start with the very basics and build up. start with just a good interior and exterior wash and you will have good business

The problem with your method is you dont know how much you're gonna charge until you get there. Id ask for pictures, then price accordingly based on the condition, while trying to up sell by explaining whats needed to get to "perfect" condition

Small businesses have been hit hard this year. Oversaturation and the economy = game over. People just have not been spending money. Yes everybody wants to be a detailer and you can look in almost every UA-cam comment that somebody is saying they are opening their detailing business this year. Unfortunately things are so bad that I am going to be selling my business in the next 2 years and just end up getting my CDL license and just do truck driving because I do not see myself making a big money that I used to make not that there is a detailer at every corner. It's a shame

100%. It’s a highly saturated field and the economy is in the dump. It seems like millions of people try every year and fail to make it work. The most important thing is people having a realistic mindset about the market
