ok. I'm assuming that most of us who watched this are mostly drummers. I'm sure that each one of us is the best, ( big egos seem to come naturally) or was the best at some point in our lives. We fail to understand, unfortunately, that we're all on different levels though. I thought I was great in h.s., then I got to Pitt. I soon found out that I wasn't really shit. Well, after some hard work and awesome crew brothers, I got pretty damn good. I thought we were the best drumline around. I didn't have to look far to see that IUP, WVU, and a few others were rocking real steady. looked further and saw even better. then phantom, crossmen, on and on. did i mention Swiss Top Secret? Damn y'all, there's a lot of us out there. There's always someone out there better than you. Point is? Why the hell do we hate on each other. we're all out there doing the best we can with what ever ability, teaching, material, exposure, equipment and time that we have. DRUMMERS UNITE! Lets support one another. Help each other out. when I hear really good drumming, it challenges me to be better. It's great to want to be the best. But once you know that you are the best, your ego has surpassed your abilities, and that is when you start sucking.
