Great long tracking shots, sun glinting on the motion, perfect exhaust plumes - and with the still conditions you captured several "smoke" rings - and I'd guess there were more forming out of shot.

Terrific long take of steam in the landscape leading into the curve (Smardale I gather?). Very atmospheric.

Great captures Steve, the 5 looked brilliant! I saw it later at Crewe, 5 minutes before Bahamas came in too. Looked good with the 2 x57s in matching livery, and inside the coaches ..... WOW!

Looks strange to have lifts at such a remote location somewhere in Northern England.

Never knew that there was going to be lifts at Horton-in-Ribblesdale railway station. Looks pretty nice once it’s all completed.
