Interview / Chat With Photographers and Singaporean Tourists at Kuala Lumpur KLCC Petronas Towers

Today I live streamed a walk from my downtown condo to the Petronas Towers. Walking through Kuala Lumpur's City Center made me want to chat with some locals and tourists alike. After streaming almost two hours, I grabbed a bite to eat then went outside while trying for a long time to find locals and expats to chat with. I was almost out of luck when I met two nice travelers from Singapore. We w...

THAT CAMERA MAN IS NOT A LOCAL PERSON MAYBE 😂FROM INDIA DON'T GIVE THEM ANY ATTENTION.
that, does not look safe at all. also that animal at 7:30 is a civet, not a common animal to sight. But they do appear from time to time.
I hate dog
They can be needy and expensive. It’s like a child to some people.
The cameraman at Petronas is your gang mate.. they are foreigners like yourself as far i am concern. I never knew locals would do that kind of job.. and its likely the person who serve you food is probably your gang as well a foreigners working in Malaysia... Working without permit is so rampant here in Malaysia
12:50 Get yourself a lottery ticket; who knows you might be lucky
Try some local seafood
''so nice not to tip?'' dont be so cheap... way to support the locals
@@carlosmartins8771 I have been told almost no one tips and it can also be seen as rude.
Wow..what an unusual trip on Penang ....other famous location among the locals is R&R Bagan Ajam, a good location to get a nice view of penang island especially at night and also to watch the sunset....and during new year Eve or other festivals, you can watch fireworks lit up across the Penang Island from far, really nice.
Bro took the mee sotong like a champ ;)
I miss penang
What device you use for this video? Looks great
18:31 Iphone 14 Pro Max
Enjoy Penang Chris! Ask for best food/ attractions from the locals. Go to Feringghi Beach to see tourists. Be safe
Do visit Malaysia's one and only basilica of st anne in bit mertajam, right next to seberang perai
Sunset was good while eating satay?
Hope that you have had a good time with your exploration in Georgetown, Penang.
I think the Lime Seeds are going to be crunchy. 🤷🏻♀️
Tourists prices there
❤❤❤ love ur videos.
@@Afghanun Thanks for the support!
if you prefer to eat with hand, you should use your right hand as local believes left hand is for 'dirty work' 😅
Heard something like that before. Maybe left handed people are trained to be ambidextrous. It would be tough to use utensils or write when forced another way.
Hope that you have had a good time with your food exploration in Penang.
why don't you invite him to your house.. and the thousand of other tom dick and harry vlogger you follow..
@azharidris7092 What is wrong with you, and what is your problem.
George town is so crowded
Yea it’s congested, hot and humid. Good for a few days and then I’m onward snd upward. I think my next destination will be somewhere I don’t have to use the air conditioning so much, especially overnight. Good to hear from you again. See ya!
@@ChrisNomaly somwehere cooler, but still in Malaysia? You're going to cameron highland?
@@SuhaimiAmirLately views have been down. I need to go somewhere for content.
This place will make you eat all day. So many delicious food. There is Nasi Kandar with rare Duck Curry from Restoran Ramzan. I've also tried 888 Hokkien Mee, CHONG Charcoal Seafood Char Kuey Teow, Ali Nasi Lemak Daun Pisang from my previous visit. Enjoy!
Thanks for the tips!
Roti jala@ net roti normally eaten as a light and simple dish for breakfast or in the evening..just like eating roti canai....to have a big portion of chicken and roti jala together is very unfamiliar to me ...that dish is meant to be paired with rice instead. Two or three pieces of roti jala with a curry sauce is more than enough for your breakfast...and may cost you 3/4 ringgit.. nevertheless you seemed to enjoy your roti jala so much ..
Cafe scene in Penang is very artistic
The coffee shops are on point here! They are all super busy this weekend
Hope u like penang. Rent a bike n have a scenic ride around the island. Do try the dessert Cendol in penang road if you happen to be there.
Wow this is the same hotel when I was with my family going on a trip
I see. It’s popular with Airbnb for sure. A vehicle is necessary though. Took me 20 minutes to walk anywhere
Glad tht u start to venture out of kl
@@irishque Yea took me long enough haha. I was too comfortable with the city living.
@ChrisNomaly 11:47 not curry tea but teh tarik😅..tarik means pulled..pulled tea d way how he made the tea by pulling up and down..penang food is second to none and d same dish outside of penang will not taste d same
Malaysian roads are generally not pedestrian friendly and it is quite a distance to walk from Glenmarie LRT station to Paradigm Mall...
The walk took about 20 minutes at a brisk pace
The more famous one is actually at d esplanade..hameed pata d name..try it is def different..then u need to try claypot bryani at kapitan restaurant
Finally in Penang huh? How did you travel since its holidays
@@fahiruzrazali I took a flight here via Firefly airlines. Only $27! Highly recommend
@ChrisNomaly used to have RM5 ($1) train from KLSentral to Subang Airport but it was suspended due to low demand Try getting a cheap flight from Penang to Langkawi next. It's just a 30-min flight away, I once got rm39 ($8) flight.
Yes Sunway Pyramid is one of the older Malls and their zoning is very mixed unlike The Exchange TRX which have different areas like luxury, hand phones brands, sports, food court as well as restaurants on the lowest level. I'm kinda disappointed that the awesome elephant 🐘 and I think horses statues at the Hotel was not emphasised, the interior of the Hotel too is very Grand
I was really impressed with the entire area
11:00 That decoration is called "Kolam", it's actually made from rice, not stones.
Love your narration. Welcome 2 KL! 🐝 future youtube star
Assalamualaikum bang wow luar suasana nya Kuala Lumpur malaysia

Hi chris. I love your content here. Love love love..❤❤ i am.muslim and i cant play with dog. But i really2 love watching dogs video and their antics.
I’m very happy you enjoyed it. They are the most loyal animals on Earth.
That's a load of bullshit.. the Malay version of islam tells you what you think is islam.. the Saudi have no problems with dogs.. they keep saluki dogs and other dogs.. the prophet Mohammad used dog to hunt.. but the Malay has somehow managed to twist islam into something very narrow.. just like the ugly head wrapping culture that has killed malay identity
I dont think you've been to One Utama Mall
I’ve been there many times. Dentist vlog I highlighted it. Did a short another time.
Even some malls I didn’t make a vlog about I probably have visited. It’s a good way to experience local flavor in particular locations.
Isn't there a sign saying no food/drinks allowed on the train? 🙄
I made the mistake the very first day of drinking a coffee but my viewers quickly let me know :). This guy most definitely knows the rules but chooses defiance. Oh well kids these days haha.
@@ChrisNomalyhe must have been so hungry lol. Well, at least he wasn't eating durian! have you had the courage to try durian yet?
@@observer-2LC Haven’t found the right time to eat durian. I’ll do a food vlog soon and maybe it’ll be there.
@@ChrisNomaly Ok wi will def check it out when you do. I wonder if you are going to love it or hate it. I don't care for it, and my siblings think there is something wrong with my palate!
@@ChrisNomaly durian is out of season now
Paradigm Mall is in Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya (aka PJ) which is a satellite town of Kuala Lumpur (KL). The Putra Heights Line LRT train ride takes about 40 minutes from KL Sentral to Kelana Jaya.
Exactly. Thanks for checking out the vlog. I really enjoyed making this one
Eating is not allowed in LRT/MRT/Monorel. 😂 Love your video. so super sharp. What iphone ur using?😊
Many thanks. I upped the frame rate to 60 frames per second recently. I use the IPhone 14 Pro :)
Thanks for this video. I retired to KL from Scotland a few weeks ago and I had to rehome my 2 spaniels as they wouldn't have coped with the heat. I miss them so much so I'll definitely be checking out the dog cafe for some doggo interaction.
I’m sure you found them a loving home. Glad you enjoyed the video. Cheers
The dogs eventually can acclimatized with the weather. We used to live in the UK for 15 years and had fur kids which breeed that only can cope with temperate weather. We couldn't leave them behind, so we brought back with us to Malaysia. At first they only can cope in air condition ..eventually their bodies acclimitazed .. even though their coats change with the UK season for the first few years but now they no longer change their coats (fur) and shedding according to the UK season. Same applied to human bodies.
@@hafizhassan9786 Going to this cafe made me think about what I was actually supporting. I suppose these huskies also acclimate with the weather. They are literally programmed to withstand arctic weather.
60 fps but shorter video? no thanks
I didn't plan for it to be so short just ended that way. My new pet cafe vlog is over 20 minutes long and came out well at 60fps. Good to hear from you again :)
0:40 wth this guy eating in a train!
Too much already now, since there's lack of enforcement
You could have walked from Kelana Jaya Station. 😮
Was it one stop before? Looks like the same walking distance but yeah maybe so. Thanks for the pointer.
hahaha…this KL sentral will be demolish soon for redevelopment project…
