Not really sure why there’s always a commenter saying they’re faster than the person on video. Nonsense. From what I’ve seen the roofers are so nonstop working it’s incredible. I understand time is of the essence but the faster you go the more problems. Every shingler video is the same. Your all fast

Not bad but I'm faster than him, I have smother flow, I can hold 3-4 shingles worth of nails while nailing so I'm not reaching for nails constantly, efficiency comes from yrs of exp hand nailing.

Turned 73 last month ..... Just did a two layer tear off, 29 sq re shingle in theee days with two helpers. Im slower than dog turd compared to those two thirty year old animals. We had three days with temps over 80. It might be my last one.

I am A 40 plus year roofer, I watch your video, your guy forgot to put a nail all the way over to the right side. Back in the day I was able to nail 3 and a half to 4 sq an hour by hand nailing. With the roof all laid out I installed 20 to 22 sq a day. One time a long time ago on a 5-12 roof one story. I removed and installed a 17 sq roof by by myself 16 hours😊in one day with flood lights.

The minute i saw an AJC roofing hatchet , I already knew he is the real deal . Anyone can use a gun . But I will lay dimes to dollars this guy can flash. 'run valleys , diagnose leaks etc. When you learn with hammer and nail , you also learn the trade of proper roofing . It's a shame how many roofers that use guns do not know simple vanilla that all roofers should know
