Has a couple of minor niggles which I’m very happy to overlook for the price. It’s stunningly good for the price you can buy it now. God tier for value.

Great review as always. Too bad it isn’t an automatic.

After debating between Militado and Thorn, I chose Militado, which has AR coating and is about $12 cheaper. The arrow mark is the only drawback.

Thorn deserve credit for the lugs on this, previous versions from Militado and Baltany had ugly oversized lugs, these ones mimic the original wire lugs very well. Thanks for reviewing.

Although many Swiss watch brands use parts from Asia, these parts must meet strict quality standards to ensure they are up to Swiss watchmaking standards. The reason for sourcing some components from abroad is that producing everything in Switzerland is quite expensive due to high labor and material costs.

I've got the Addiesdive MY-H2 and the AD2048, both are amazing for the money, though the AD2048 was running slow (-23 seconds) but adjusted now to +6 seconds, so not so bad, the MY-H2 seems almost bang on (+2 secs). The build and finish on both is amazing for the money.

Fantastic overview sir. I own a couple of these field watches (Militado ML05 & Addiesdive AD2048) and both are comfortable easy on the eyes. 👍✌️

I've just got a new pilot watch from wm watch website, £67 delivered. Ive got the blue dial, it measures 41mm but description says 42mm. I've got it on a blue leather strap as I'm not a fan of butterfly clasps. It has a look of the IWC one. But it is a really good, well made watch. Movement is the miyota 8215. Take a look wes, I'm sure you'll like it.

I love field watches too, I'm not sure why really. The Militado ml08 Murph homage is my current favourite.

The Tandario's crown sticks out prominently like a sore thumb.

Updated Addiesdive bracelets have solid end links and milled clasp now.

I have the Militado ML05 and both Addiesdive watches and I can attest they are wonderful watches. It is amazing the value that is provided in these pieces and your review of these watches was excellent.

Great video as always, I have the Addiesdives and Tandorio watches featured, the value for money is hard to beat. They are built like tanks and can take a beating. Another great thing is there are numerous dial and hands available to change the look.

Dust inside case at 1:35 ?

I have seen and owned most of these watches. The Tandorio line, based on quality components, is clearly giving he buyer the most for the buck. Not only do they exceed the othe watches in quality, but are comparable to watches in the $100 pdice range. It's been a long time coming, but Chinese watches are now the gold standard

Thanks for your overviews of these inexpensive watches. For me, the Addiesdives look like the best options. (I ordered the AD2070) I wish the Escapement Time, Militado, Rdunae had lume on the numerals, plus better lume. The Tandorio's need better AR coating and verified water resistance. If only Baltany would offer their field chronograph (S5033), but without the chronograph. The Steeldive SD1928H comes the closest, but the numerals aren't as thick, with (presumably) longer lasting lume on the Baltany. Do you know of any similar watches to the SD1928H (besides their SD1944)?
