    Will it have a five year warranty?

    • @3DFarmingLife
      @3DFarmingLife 4 дні тому

      To my knowledge it is the same as the other LS tractors. Which is six-year limited powertrain warranty, including parts and labor, on most of the tractors. There is a two-year bumper to bumper. That is all I know for now and I could have missed something. Might check your dealer. They would know better than me. Thanks I hope I was some help.

    Thanks for the review. My MT5 73 is a 1.5 years and has 350 hrs. Here are a few more comments to add to your list for your viewers. - Top link... Yes same here. I have to figure something better than an ugly bungee cord to hold it in place. - Steering wheel whining... Noticed the same thing, It was really screaming when I lifted a 1 ton bag of fertilizer and steering was very difficult so I was avoiding steering as much as possible when loading and unloading. It would probably benefit to have a counter balance on the 3 point hitch. - The beeping noise. Like your comment on the beeping. 😊 I have to figure a way to at least lower the sound level. It's like it's screaming at you all the time. - One thing to check is the bolts that hold the loader to the chassis. Make sure they are still tight after 100 hrs. Mine were starting to get loose. Has to do with being installed after the paint and the paint wearing off. Problems so far. 1- I had the EGR changed. Fault code F08. Every time when you put the key on you will hear it clicking 3 times. Mine started acting up after 211 hrs until it completely stop. Was under warranty but still had to pay to get it replaced because the dealer needs proof that it was replaced so you can't replace on your own. I was told to try and clean it at the beginning. It was actually not that dirty at all. 2- Radio stopped working after around 30 hrs. Replaced with a named brand with my own money. 3- Power Shuttle Transmission Switch. Lately I've been getting a F02 - 1000000 error code on startup. This is the code for a malfunctioning Power Shuttle Switch (The orange paddle in cab). The neutral light in the dash would also blink twice, (not sure if that has anything to do with the problem). You will get an exclamation mark in the dashboard and an ear full constant annoying high pitch sound.🤨 The tractor will not go into gear. And of course this will usually happen when you're in a rush to go bail the hay before it rains. :) I'll check to see if I can spray electronic cleaner in there, before I get it replaced. I keep the inside of the cabin decently clean. I'm 6ft tall and I find this tractor very comfortable to drive. I enjoy many of the hydraulic features on this tractor. I can lift 1 1/4 cords pallets of fire wood easily. I have not had any issues with the DPF regeneration. It does regenerate more often during the winter as compared to the summer when the tractor works harder. To me this tractor is a real charm. Thanks again for your effort to share. Keep it up. Rich

      Thank you so much for sharing your experience with your 573. Hearing from a real LS owners real experience is what we need. Good or Bad. Happy or not. This helps all of us make informed decisions on our next tractor purchase. I don’t believe that any brand is perfect but your experience and others help to educate all of us. • @3DFarmingLife
      @3DFarmingLife 16 днів тому

      Yes that is exactly right. You have to rely heavily on your dealer. I have a great dealer but if you have one of those dealers that only wants to sell a tractor and not help support you?????? That would be a huge problem. LS has so much potential they need to tweak things and make sure they have the right personnel and dealers that will go the extra mile. As well redo the owners manual. Some is good some not so good. Thanks for your comment.

    Shredding, at least, knocks out foliage to keep the plants from producing beans. Then can come back like you did with herbicide to control sprouts. Then grub what is left

    • @3DFarmingLife
      @3DFarmingLife 17 днів тому

      Yes that is true. It is a little time consuming and requires labor to stay on top of it, but it does work. It cost a lot less than root plowing but it is a little slower process. I have seen several fields that have been root plowed and with in a few years the Mesquite start to reappear. It is all about control in my opinion. Root plowed or not. Thanks we appreciate you.

About 10years old I ran over a huge yellow jackets hive in a open station they were after me across 30 acres. When I made it back to the barn my grandad hauled me to the ER where I almost died had been stung over 60 times. I’d definitely been dead if it was hornets or wasps.

      These are hornets, not honey bees, and unless it is cold which it is not right now, when disturbed they are very likely to chase you down or at least swarm you. These are also nest of hundreds not small nest of 10 or 20 wasp. Hornets can be very aggressive when agitated even when done accidentally and not on purpose. Hornets have the ability to sting several times. Not saying bees will not chase you because I know better than that, I have been around several bee hives some are very calm but there are others that can be aggressive. Many stories about farmers being swarmed, chased and stung, Some hospitalized with hundreds of stings but also some lost their lives by swarms of bees, hornets, wasp and more. This one hay field I actually hit 2 of these nest so far. Each time they swarmed my cab. Thankfully it is sealed well. Thanks
