Love this show but why does Bones always talk about foster care...ok her parents left when she was 15 years old. So she was only in it for e years not since she was little.
What is this song called
He was the teams anchor, helping each of them realize that processing emotions instead of suppressing or hiding from it is worth the pain, ensuring that they communicated their feelings to each other instead of silence distancing them, and helping them grow beyond what they started off as. The team would have imploded many times over if it weren't for him, and you can see the lessons they learned from him live on in later seasons. Arguably he had the most influence on the story over anyone in the team, and he went out far harder than his killer probably expected a shrink to go
"I can help, I have to help." got me right in the damn heart.
Dude didn’t even make it to 30 😔
Is kinda curious how he started as a somewhat annoying character with his psycho therapy system. But in time even us, the audience got to like him and see his develop, now losing him to never see him again, it hurts. 😢
l
This breaks me every single time. It’s Angela’s ‘oh god’ at the realisation :( i sob constantly
😢 oh God
Booth: She said don't talk, why are you talking all the time, Bones said don't talk. Booth: No no no you can start talking now Sweets come on. Brennan:He's gone Booth, he's gone. I was not at all happy that Sweets died but I'm happy he died by being a hero helping family cause lets face it as much as Booth hates Sweets he loves him even more. If that made any sense but you get the picture.
It was the best series I've ever watched. It was a great series in every sense. Even today I watch it over and over again.
I was inconsolable after his death. First it was Vincent and then Sweets. Broke my heart in ways I didn't think was possible. Even now, nearly a decade later the wounds are still just as fresh. They weren't just tv characters. They felt like they were my friends. I still cannot listen to "Lime in the coconut" because it reminds me of both Vincent and Lance.
that other guy is know on FBI show
What’s the song at the end called
Bones was bullshit I hate they pushed the women on us
God you people are pathetic. Its a show. John left the show on HIS terms. Why should it have been any different? To pander to you? He did what he thought was best for him. Get over yourselves.
No he wanted a BREAK, he didn't want to leave permanently. These faggots of writers killed him off cause they are idiotic.
What season and esipode was this
The moment Bones says "This is not Sweets," I feel the writers are cruelly teasing the audience, because for a split second it sounds like she's about to say this is not really Sweets because they faked his death for an investigation.
Whole family had tears in this episode RIP Sweets
Fuuuuuuucccckkkk
What was the name of the song at the end of this episode? It was hauntingly beautiful. Sweet's death made me cry as though I lost someone dear to me. RIP Sweets. 😭😭😭
Never forgive the writers for this. Even if his actor wanted off the show I really wish they would've just given him a happy ending.
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Seriously thought this was James McAvoy
Brennan quietly shines in these scenes; first by gently forcing Booth to face the fact that Sweets has died despite their attempts to save him, then by literally taking Daisy under her wing and finally by giving Cam the courage and resolve to perform the autopsy. All very much in character and all very moving.
This is still one of the worst deaths ever in tv history for me. And the fact that they’re doing the autopsy??? Sweets was like the little brother Jared should’ve been to Booth.
Glad I missed this episode. I really am. I watched Bones all the time, Sweets was a great character, they could have written him out w/ A better ending. Why didn't it show that he left the F.B.I. for another job instead of killing him off? That would have been better on the viewers😖😖😖😖
I wasn't even over Vincent's death and this....this just broke me
Brennen’s dad dying got me worked up too
After sweet death i never watch bones anymore
This was so hard to watch
This episode hurt deeply, I know John wanted/needed to move on in his profession but he was fabulous as a psychologist - underused by the show and about to be a daddy.
To keep me from breaking down over the death of a beloved character, I like to think about how the actor had to sit there, covered in makeup, inside of a body bag, for numerous takes, and how he probably messed up a few scenes by making funny faces or something, just to keep the atmosphere a little lighter
Still hurts
First sweets doges death but then he dies 😢😢😭
I was not expecting Sweets' death and it gutted me, especially because he was going to start a family with Daisy.
Just remember that sometimes coroners and professions similar have to perform tasks associated with the job on someone they knew or worked with daily. Much respect to those individuals that wouldn't recuse themselves.
I had a family friend who ran the only funeral home in our small town. She knew of all the people she had to prepare and she was close to 40% of them. She said it was her way of honoring them.
I forget if I ever seen this episode but I've watched it pretty much the whole series and I seriously felt the emotion especially with daisy
Just experienced this for the first time last night. Absolutely shattered me
Noo not sweets he is my favorite why😭😭😭
Vincent and sweets deaths both hit me the hardest to this day. On any tv show ever
This is so cut.
This one got me ! So heart breaking ! 😢
No 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
What season & episode?
I'm glad they got the entire story that went back to the 1940s and got everyone
Heartbreaking scene
The death of Sweets hit me the hardest.
I started tearing in this scene it was so sad sweets did not deserve to die
Man 2022 this part always made me think how short life can actually be
The thing that always bothered me about this is what happened to his body. In this scene we see his corpse. After that they show his bones and the team working with them just like they always do. What the f*** happens to his body?! 😅
There is a scene in the next episode where we see beetles removing flesh from bones. That's presumably him.
