Sounds damn good bro. I’m thinking about doing some jegs cat delete pipes soon. Did you tune for your cat deletes? If not how does it run? I’ve heard it’ll throw a cat inefficiency code and make it run rich. Just wondering your experience. Thanks in advance!
If you delete your cats, you can run the car like it. However you will get a CEL and the car will run rich. If I were you, I would definitely get a tune.
@@zlowyote Will defoulers allow me to skip needing a tune. I've read the big daddy angled defoulers keeps the light off and I would assume no light equals the car won't run rich.
@@bosolaRUST no light does not mean the car isn't running rich. You can run defaulters, but sometimes those even mess up. I would just get a tune from somewhere reputable and not have to worry about the issues.

@@zlowyote Ford told me thought it was. A vacuume leak but they said it was the computer it's jerking and hesitating when accelerating

@@abc_u_hater nice. My twin turbo kit required me to relocate the fuse box and the ECU underneath the head light, so I'm scared something is going to happen to it. I need to get a cover for it 🤣

I had a similar situation. I was shifting pretty low at 3,000 RPM and cruising and a guy rolled up at a light and he said, "I have one of those too." I'm so used to getting compliments on my straight pipes in my 2014 GT that I gave him a thumbs up and started driving again. My girlfriend was my passenger and she told me she thought that was rude, and I didn't know what she meant until I saw he was trying to rev his Dodge up and driving erratically. I had a chance to pass him so I revved it out to only 5000 and I could tell he lost his mind. He was swerving around and moved behind me to tailgate, but I turned off on a small road pretty fast. Instant SDS diagnosis.
I like your driving. Turn signals, nice distance from other cars, giving slower vehicles a chance knowing they're slower. You may be quick in traffic, but you're not an ass doing so.
Dyno definitely underrating your car, my stock gen 1 was making 420whp just with a good 93 tune and lt headers

A lot more factors. Mainly because TT makes power more efficiently and puts less stress on the engine.

Glad to see you back that thing sounds like a dream, good luck getting races though everybody is scared of S197s nowadays.😂 Is the engine still being broken in with the new internals or have you just not gotten used to the big power difference yet, I’m sure it’s alot to handle but I’m tryna hear that thing screammmm.😭
The car is technically broken in (about 2,500 miles on it), but there's still some minor kinks i.e. need to tighten oil drain lines, fix some leaks. Basic turbo stuff. Overall it's very healthy though! I will explain everything in the next video!

Keep your oil level a little higher over the dipstick and you wont have to worry about OPG's because you wont be sucking frothy oil that was whipped up by the crankshaft through the pump. The problem is low oil capacity, once you start driving most of the oil is in the motor. Fords fix to this was an 8qt oil capacity for gen 2. Still wasnt fixed so they went 9 in gen 3,t and now i belive they're at 10 qts. Also, use heavier oil. Shell Rotella 5w40 for a NA car is about perfect.
Car is now twin turbo/built motor. I run 5w-30 and still use the 8qts oil pan (gen 1)
@zlowyote yeah you should definitely get some 5w40 Shell Rotella diesel motor oil in there, immediately lol especially since you're doing turbo, one of the best qualities of that diesel oil Rotella is the detergents. There's some really strong detergents that are gonna help keep your rings clean, not to mention the cam phaser seals. Sure, you probably won't have any problems for a while, but if you want to prolong the life of that boosted yote, definitely consider Rotella. Castrol 0w40 is also a great option for turbo builds, it's spec'd out to Audi/VW oil standards, those guys put turbos on everything. Again, good strong detergents and high synth content in the oil. I personally ran Rotella in the summer and Castrol in the winter with my stage 3 turbo build A4. That car is a sludge monster, and when I pulled my valve covers off while checking everything before selling, the timing proximity was so clean you could almost eat off it. I never ran additives or anything, just the Rotella+Castrol. So many old timers and ignorant guys say oil doesn't really matter, and while it may be true on an NA running really good fuel and changing the oil every 2k miles, for the rest of us trying to be a bit more conservative with our boosted coyotes, it really does matter. Anyway, I won't preach anymore here 😅 I just feel obligated to try and correct the misinformation floating around out there for our cars. Hope your stays on the road for a long time brotha
@@TheManic.5-OH yeah i would do that BUT i built the motor myself, and the tolerances for the main bearings and rod bearings are too small for that thick of oil.
@@TheManic.5-OH and also I use amsoil 5W-30 full synthetic. Which is 100% synthetic and the best oil you can buy. It has better detergents and cleaning agents that any oil out there, per a study done on about 20 different oil brands. (Shell rotella included).
@zlowyote I think you might be a little confused, I'm on my 3rd motor build right now and helping another guy do a sleeved 5.2 in the future. I'm not sure where you're looking at thinking it's an oil channel, but that 'clearance too tight for that heavy of oil' doesn't exist. That's no the case on a coyote, voodoo and definitely not predator. If that WERE to be the case, why would ford ever tell you to run Motorcraft 5w50 if you have an oil cooler? I understand your concern, but its not necessary and redundant.

im FBO with E85, cobra jet manifold, mgw short throw, mcleod stage 2 clutch, one piece aluminum driveshaft and PMAS intake (switching to JLT). im wondering what i push rn i need to get on a dyno i just prdered an SR performance underdrive pulley too so that'll help. nice video man. tough car!
