This scale is INCREDIBLE for type 1 diabetics that need to measure carbs per weight in order to calculate the amount of insulin they need to dose. Basic scales create extra steps for figuring out these life or death insulin dosage amounts. :)
This was what has drawn me to this. My daughter has just started pump therapy. She has grandparents who are not tech literate, and need to know carb counts.

Wow...Great review...I can understand why it proved to be a letdown for you. If I have learned anything from you over the last 4.5 years, it is that being on a weight loss/gain journey, convenient and sustainable practices are the best bet...And yes, this scale is frustrating and will cause friction in calorie counting, almost to the point where someone like me would give up calorie counting altogether. Kudos for the detailed and honest review.

It was a odd feeling hunting down a 4 digit number where on myfitnesspal if I type the food I want I immediately get all the food data I could ever need. It was a fun blind test though 😁

I've never tried it in the microwave, I'm not sure it would work. An air fryer would work though.

Yep! Definitely. In normal fridge it can last 2-3 days no problem. Freezer would be about 2-3 weeks no problem too!
