Greetings, Commanders. With our strategic relocation to Delkar, MICO is proud to announce a bold new chapter in our operations. Effective immediately, MICO is focusing its efforts on the mining and distribution of four rare and highly sought-after materials: Osmium, Samarium, Praseodymium, and Bromellite (OSPB). These are precious resources that cannot be acquired through conventional markets, and their demand amongst BGS (Background Simulation) players is at an all-time high.
Our Mission:
MICO’s goal is clear: to become the galaxy’s premier supplier of OSPB materials. Through meticulous mining efforts and strategic resource management, we will solidify our position as the go-to source for these invaluable commodities.
Operational Strategy:
- Mining Locations:
- Delkar: Our primary mining operations for Osmium, Samarium, and Praseodymium will be conducted in Delkar’s rich metallic rings.
- LFT 65: For Bromellite, our miners will extract this rare mineral from the depths of LFT 65.
- Resource Stockpile: All MICO miners are directed to accumulate a minimum of 400 tons of OSPB. Building up this stockpile is essential to our market dominance. For those without carriers, rest assured-MICO’s fleet of carriers will be stationed in both Delkar and LFT 65, ready to purchase your mined materials at competitive rates. This will enable you to rapidly build your wealth, possibly funding your own carrier in the process.
Market Pricing:
After extensive research and market analysis, MICO has established the following sale prices for OSPB materials:
- Osmium: 2 Million credits per ton
- Bromellite: 2.8 Million credits per ton
- Samarium: 1.5 Million credits per ton
- Praseodymium: 750k credits per ton
MICO Carrier Purchase Rates:
For MICO members, our carriers will buy your mined materials at the following rates:

Ballsy moves cmdr! That meranii is a known french ganker dretch living in his mom's basement. He's even got a series on his yt called 'ganking & trolling'. He loves to grief titan-bombing ax-pilots because they cant fight back. He only interdicted you 'cause you seemed like an easy pushover. Glad you got away. o7

@@opp10opp hit the Button in the moment he turns by. He can't get you out of SOC. You should test it yourself. Putting yourself into dangers makes you a better pilot. Everyone can afford a cobra to learn the ropes.
After several griefings I just don't bother going on open servers. Solo works for me. No need to put up with petulant bullies in their over-engineered ships.
Thanks for your opinion on that. Playing in open is a big part of my personal immersion for that game. So whats called griefing / ganking is part of it, so it's viable in my eyes. It opens the door for defence groups aswell. Dont get caught and use a heavily engineered ship to counter them...
@@jaheba I hate ganking/griefing because the griefer gains nothing from it. If it was piracy/bounty hunting fair enough.
@@cyborgbadger1015 He is part of the universe and represents the dangerous in Elite!. I accepted the fact that cmdrs can do whatever they like. Find a groupe to work against that or play solo/pg. It's all legit in my eyes. OPEN is Elite Dangerous for my understanding.
@@jaheba I completely agree with you mostly I just dont accept destroying a players ship for no gain and I never will. Other than that Im all for Open play. Human players are far more inventive than the AI which is mechanocal and predictable.

Scared of running above 20% heat to keep me cold and not as a target on sensor 😂
@@jaheba Yeah thats the thing - as far as I understand, silent running closes heat vents on your ship, so to the outside your temp will be always zero. The heatsink ejecting is to prevent internal overheating. So if you are silent running then you can eject heatsink only if you are above 100% heat. But I'm not entirely shure it works this way - may be worth testing this.

I found a system with a neat ring with monazite (which sometimes gets to 500k creds per unit in Garay Terminal) near Deciat. I don't remember the name but its a neat little spot that I went to farm creds for some time.

Only for solo players, that system is full of gankers, I'm not a ganker but I go in there for fun just to get interdicted and either fight it out or run but 99% Time they don't have enough firepower to take me out before I can get away. But if you run across a player that's in a wing, then two engineered ships will melt you pretty quickly..lol. I like playing in the open for the thrill of it.
You could blocklist gankers, one by one.

They weren't joking. These guys have balls of steel. Barely a week or two since I joined and I already bought my corvette and one of every prismatic shield. Guess it's time to start working toward the carrier. Whether you're mining for ore or mining for pirates or just trucking- These guys know how to make money and have a good time doing it. What others have said, station pirating is risky, better to stake out the star and intercept. The Python is a nice tanky ship although a bit slow for my tastes. +1 for spikes :)
I may of gotten a little distracted by all the pirates by the end of the day, still took home over 500 tonnes of rock.

Memories connected to PTSD are oftentimes suppressed by one's psyche.
We are always there, and you know it 😜 Jaheba recently said that the pirates are also part of the squadron in some of a way. I don't think he's entirely wrong about that.
I love my Type 10, always confuses me when someone says they have The Big 3 - there are 4! Al my experience deep core mining during the diamond rush was in a Type 10.
