I heard that updating reset the trader missions. Some notes on traders though. The traders are point based now T1=1 point, T2=2 and so on. Click on quests, Top of the left side box it'll tell you what tier you're on how many points you have to go till the next tier unlock. Keep in mind that if you have T2s and you've got the points for T3s, the special job mission won't become available till all T2 quests are completed in your log. So, just take them one at a time. Be sure to trade your last mission for each tier with the respected trader to get vehicle bundles. Bike is Rekt, Jen is Mini bike, Bob is motorcycle etc, etc. Completing a tier and turning it into a lower tier trader might not net you the vehicle bundle.

I do not use that duckbill mod. I watched your weapons setup vids but have to watch them again for the shotgun tips. Seems like the duckbill would make more missed shots occur imo.

So you're running horde every night, insane difficulty and 8 zoms per horde? Just curious. I'm doing a Warrior, 7 day horde with 64 zoms. 7 Days to Die is so much fun :D

TRUE... Stealth is TERRIBLE... The problem is the invisible trigger areas that spawn enemies that are already aggro'd onto you... Terrible design...

For the dew collector upgrades, the Gatherer increases the speed you get water, the tarp gives you 2 water every time it is generated, and the filter make all water generated clean. I tend to go for the tarp first when I can (have started 4 game so far in 1.0 testing different builds)

I've played an agility build assassin for several years. You can put a 2x or 4x scope on any crossbow but you can't put a scope on any bow. This is a much better choice than the reflex sight because it allows the assassin to make long range headshots with pinpoint accuracy that you cannot get with the reflex sight. Combine the scope with the exploding crossbow bolt and use that for anything that absolutely positively has to die in one head shot. The exploding ammo is your RPG. It's a good idea to speck in handgun and bows because you find yourself in situations where you have a lot of enemies that you must deal with quickly and the bow is too slow. The end game assassin should be in compound crossbows and the .44 Magnum desert Eagle. Both with scopes. If I could put a scope on a bow, I would stick with bows because I enjoy bows. It's a personal preference that gets overruled by practicality.

Put a check in the Free Range box. Rouge camps move every night at midnight. Locked crates move twice a day. At this point I would suggest you adopt a rule - Arrows are for animals, ammo is for hunters. Otherwise you will always be out of ammo. What you got from that bear is simply not worth the ammo you spent.

A lot to comment on here. You've built the animal house to early, you will struggle to keep it fed and will sacrifice your own stamina to do it. And all for the equivalent of a liver. It is not worth it. The animal house only becomes valuable when you have the cook stove for making cooked foods. And only then when you have the feces tray and free ranged. So once this experiment fails put the animal house on the back burner till it is useful. What you need is to get to 4 plant beds as quickly as you can, then you will have veggies for yourself and for animals. Grow cotton and tomatoes, the other veggies are only useful after you have a stove. Some argue that carrots are better than tomatoes. While they are a tiny bit better at filling your veg bar, they dehydrate rather than hydrate, and they are worthless in the animal house, needing 17 to fill the food bar as opposed to 6 tomatoes. Look at any foods hunger value, that is the % of the housings food bar that will get filled. You might think you don't have fertilizer for 4 planters, doesn't matter, planters don't NEED fertilizer. Sure, things grow faster with fertilizer, but one planter with fertilizer can't begin to compete with four that don't have fertilizer. Each plant bed is a one time cost that pays dividends for the life of the game. Now, about cougars. The hunting blind idea came from a past time in the game when cougars would come to the platform and stay there while you shot them. Now they run away making the blind less useful. A blind is not needed and is more dangerous than proper technique, but if you are going to use one I suggest these points.. Put it where the cougar is, you don't want him biting your butt trying to get to it, that defeats the whole point. Make a blind using a foundation, half ceiling, stairs and a doorway (with no door, animals don't go through doorways.), and no other walls. Walls keep you from being able to shoot the cougar when he is at the foundation. Place the foundation at a height where you can't jump on it, if you can't the cougar can't. Place the half ceiling between the foundation and the stairs to remove the hitch that happens when you enter through the doorway directly from the stairs. A level 1 cougar has 180hp, a level 2 has 205, level 3 is 230. Get close enough to see his hp bar so you can see what it is, you can do that and he won't charge, just don't be careless. The 9mm does 18 damage, the bow does 35, the rifle does 49, the shotgun shoots 20 pellets that each do 6 damage for a potential total of 120. But the pellets have a spread so at the range you shot the cougar in this vid you did only 42 damage (obviously 7 pellets hit each doing 6 damage). The shotgun is for shooting things in the face. He had 105 hp so he was a one shot to you if you let him close the distance before the shot. So if a blind isn't the best way to hunt cougars, what is? Make a rifle. Identify the cats hp. Think about the cats hp and your weapon damage. So 180 hp means 1 rifle shot (49), one bow shot (35) and one shotgun blast (120) will take him down (total 204). Notice that 204 is not enough to take down a level 2, and even if it where just enough keep in mind an animal can regen a few hp between the first shot and the last. So the level 2 would need rifle, rifle, shotgun. And a level 3 would need rifle, rifle, bow, shotgun. Now move to long range, shoot him with the rifle and run. If he catches up to you, you were not at long range. If you are at long range he will chase until about where you took the shot and stop. So he never catches up to you and you are never in danger. If a second rifle shot is needed, again, move to long range and repeat. If only a bow shot is needed the distance doesn't matter as long as you have time to accurately switch to the shotgun. For the shotgun blast, remember, don't shoot till it is in his face, and try to arrange the shot to be on as level ground as possible. On slopes and uneven terrain there are times when it seems that where the game draws the animal and where it calculates it to be are slightly different and can cause a miss or only a partial hit. Even then as long as the shotgun is not empty or you are on low hp to begin with, you will get him with the second shot before he takes you out. As you upgrade your weapons the shots needed will change, but know the damage your weapons do, you can easily find weapon damage charts.

For future reference: You can log out to reset a quest you have started to avoid fails if you screw up, or the quest spawns incorrectly (like a fetch that does not have a fetch item - yes, it happens)
