As a Kurd who is worried about the future of his own language and also other minority languages I got so emotional. I hope these people never give up and Swiss government will support it in a better way to make people feel proud of their language and that they can survive by speaking their own language in cities too.❤

And The Red Cross? And a different sized flag to everyone else? And Helvetica - so bloody conspicuous...er, London has the Swiss Glockenspiel & canton flag pole ( sadly missed Swiss Centre)..now outside the EU together...ah.. we must be as crazy as you cats!

As a Swiss person from the French Speaking (Suisse Romandie), this brings a tear of joy to my eye. Even when I lived in Switzerland, we were not taught much about Rumantsch, it was always a mystery even though it’s the only 100% Swiss language. It’s amazing to see native speakers and children being taught this amazing language. Btw: my family origin is actually from Graubünden, but the Italian speaking part. Siempre Grigioni!!!!

Romansh people use romanian names. Why? Ionut is one of them and my name is Ionut. Some of them live in the region of Venice close to istro-romanians, interesting... We might be related. I see they have an eastern orientation. Some others live in Lichtenstein. We both love mountains and maybe transhumation for being shepards.

If they say yes buckle up. There are people like me waiting to learn and talk Rumantsch.
