It's a statistical fact - no other musician played with more performers in his 50 yr career, than Leon Russell. The list is endless and spans almost every genre, from Bing Crosby to Sinatra to Eric Clapton to Bob Dylan, etc. etc. Then there are his original songs, like Masquerade and 100 others. You could not be more prolific than this man. #RIPLeonRussell.

I liked Leon in those early 70 times, but I really didn’t know what he was all about until I just ran into some UA-cam videos yesterday. I’m glad to finally discover. Elton John gives Leon so much credit for his piano playing and now hearing Leon’s piano playing, I can think that maybe Elton John did adopt Leon’s piano playing style.

Probably my favorite Leon tune! So talented! He is very missed!! God Bless Him!!!!

Born Sinner. Hell Raiser and Saint, Just a man adding to and contributing to humanity the best way he could.
