MPC 2000xl Beat (Cut-n-mutE - A Train's Dream)
Hey!
It's being a long time since I have posted my last video but strangely enough, people are still subscribing to the channel. So thank you all and welcome!
I continue to dive in to the sample-based music and MPC world so here's my new track - A Train's Dream. It was made on MPC 2000xl, which I absolutely love. Samples are half from commercial libraries, half played by me on Yamaha MX61 keyboard.
I hope you enjoy it!
P.S. As I currently have several different MPCs in my possession (2kxl, 1000, 2500, Live), let me know in the comments if you would like to see a comparison video.

My Electribe2 is finally back from repairs (the power socket was broken) and here's a new track called "Recycled". P.S. Adobe Premiere Elements is the worst video editing software in the whole world. Three times it crashed without giving me a chance to save my project. Finally I've done this in iMovie in 5 minutes. Burn, Adobe!

I like the sound of Electribe 2 very much, but I kinda had difficulties with using it in a live performance, so I decided to spend some time trying to figure out how to play live on Electribe 2. This track is what I ended up with. It's called L.I.B. Audio was recorded straight into my soundcard and then I have only applied Waves L2 to get volume.
Simply the best!

I don't usually like techno, but this was interesting for the way you started with those 'off' rhythms and then added the glue which made sense of those themes. Electribe 2, is so underrated.
Sounds good! (Technically, this is live sequencing or "beat making" rather than "live looping"! which usually describes audio loops.)
Great sound design / selection - then just when i didn't think his could get better @3:08 ;0) Vastly underrated gear, its built in tracks doesn't do it justice.

Damn you’re good, I’m happy to see it being used for what I’m hoping it can be used for! Does the audio come out clean, say if you were to output direct into an amp?? Can you save your own presets with the 16 pads already ready for performing with your own loaded samples? Also is there storage space on the unit itself, AND through SD card? Or is it a choice of one or the other? Sorry for all the questions 😂 but this is the best demo I’ve seen & I’ll make sure you get your cut when I buy one ;)
