Welcome to School of Literature, a channel which is a sanctuary for bibliophiles and a beacon for students of English literature. At School of Literature, we believe in the transformative power of words and the enduring magic of stories. We believe that each book we read, each poem we dissect, and each story we share, adds a new facet to our understanding of ourselves and the world around us. We are not just studying literature; we are exploring the human condition in all its complexity and beauty. At the heart of our mission is a sublime quest for knowledge. T. S. Eliot once beautifully portrayed this quest,
“We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.”
Keep reading, keep learning, and let School of Literature be your guide through the vast and wondrous world of words. Welcome to your literary home. Welcome to School of Literature.

Randomly found this channel and coming back every other day to learn something new. It would be great if you could guide us on how to analyse dramas to the core to be able to answer any questions asked.
I am so glad that we are able to help you. I will surely make a video on analysing drama.
Explanation 👏👏👏👏👏❤❤❤
Thank you. 😁
Hi, May I have the list of all books for paper 2
Subject english
I have mentioned all the books in the description.
It was super helpful ❤. I am currently a 2nd year literature student from DU and I really struggle with note taking , do share some tips for effective note-taking .
I am glad that the video was helpful for you. I will make a video on note-taking super soon. 💖
Thank you so much ma'am. Really very helpful.
I am glad that it was helpful. 😁💖
Awesome ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you. 💖
Butifully explained ❤
Thank you. 💖

Can you please guide to clear jkpsc lecturer exam
I haven't appeared for any PSC exams, can't really help you with that.
Thanku so much ma'am keep enlightening us ❤
Glad that you found the video useful. 😁
Sir, i got 51 % in my graduation but more than 55 % in my post graduation and last year i qualified SET exam in english, so am i not qualified for PHD Programme? Please reply....
You will be eligible because most universities require a minimum of 55% in Master's degree.
👍
Purai duniya bhar kai vata dai
I was searching for Litz this whole time but gladly yt recommended me this. Keep up the good work😊.
Thank you. ✌️
Sir, can you please explain how to apply for NET with only a Bachelor Degree .
NET without a Masters' degree wouldn't be valid but you can take the exam for experience.
Could you suggest any books for Greek and Roman literature?
For NET, I wouldn't recommend reading from a book for Greek and Roman literature. It would be better to take help from online resources.
@@SchoolOfLiteratureYT Thanks!
Hello Can you please make a video on writing a paper in international journals ? I am pursuing PhD at Alig but I haven't published a paper till now !
Sure. I will make a video soon.
@SchoolOfLiteratureYT Thanks a lot 🙏
Your channel needs to be brought to light for the students like all of us. Keep going please ❤
Thank you. Glad you liked the video. 😁
Never seen before such a fluent literature student as you with such profound understanding. Loved it. Even some of the professors don't come up to match you in your fluency I feel, especially in India.
So nice of you, I hope to continue making relevant videos.
Read that book when I was in class 10th , what an impactful book. It inspires you from inside💫🥹
If you liked Anne Frank, you can check out Night by Elie Wiesel.
@@SchoolOfLiteratureYT There's plenty evidence that Anne Frank's diary was a complete fabrication created as part of zionist propaganda. If you read the diary objectively, you can easily uncover the holes in the story. Kids and a bunch of people hiding in the house while no one would even get a wiff/suspicion that they are there. That too in times when everyone had heightened senses. Odd! If you see Piano Man, which was also a true story, you could know that it was difficult for one grown arse man to hide, let alone a whole family. Also, in the wake of the current happenings, I think its a bit passe to glorify jews.
It's truly horrifying 😢
Indeed.
Admiring your bookshelf 😍
Plz provide some important notes to start reading literature for post graduation..
I will try to make videos to help you be better at note taking.
Excellent sir please keep doing it ❤
Glad you liked the video, Mohit. 😁
❤
Mam i m 2nd year english hons student my question is as i have rd Trivedi 's hostory of English literature so what i should read each era and make notes and complete the book then i should move to another history book of English literature and make another notes of the same topic in different register..isnt the right way or not.. kindly guide
One history book is definitely not enough. While making notes, you can either leave some blank pages for each topic or make your notes for each age in different copies.
Could you create a structured, high-quality video series covering all ten units of both Paper 1 and Paper 2 for the UGC NET, with a dedicated playlist for each unit? Posting these videos freely on UA-cam-without any paid classes or batches-would be an incredible gift to students across the country. Such a resource would help countless learners prepare effectively, empowering them with accessible education. Thank you for considering this contribution to the academic community! 🙏🏻
Hey, that's a great idea but it will take a lot of time. I hope to have those playlists eventually.
Sir you started previously one UA-cam channel as I can remember , isn't it.
Yes, but I lost it due to some technical issues. I will be uploading videos on this channel now.
Your first recommendation is my all time favorite. "Anna Karenina, Anna Karenina, Anna Karenina" when asked the three best novels of all time. William Faulkner
Anna Karenina is an amazing book indeed. 😁
Can you recommend any good book for topics such as indian aesthetics and research methodology and methods in english ?
For Indian aesthetics, you can check out Indian Aesthetics by V. S. Seturaman. For research methodology and methods, you can go with C. R. Kothari.
Can you suggest some books for history of American literature?
For NET preparation, you can read the history of American literature from various resources on the internet. Books like Oxford Companion to American Literature will not be sufficient but will give a framework and help you look for relevant topics.
❤❤❤
Lovely ❤🎉
Thank you!
Didn't you have another channel before named Litz? I really searched for it but it was nowhere to be found. So glad to see that you are back. Just love your content.
Yes. Lost that channel due to some issue. I’ll be posting on this channel now. Glad to have you here!
I think this is one of the most honest and genuine Literature channels with simplified narrative.
Thank you for your kind words. 😊
This is amazing. Thank you for the tips and suggestions.
Glad you found the tips helpful!
You might have mentioned a few more books to scare the aspirants. I cleared jrf by reading half of the books you mentioned as basic books. I think you are king of literature brother.
Congrats on your JRF, Goutam! I never wanted just surface level knowledge and since I plan on being in academics all my life, I felt it was important for me to read and understand every topic in depth. Moreover, I had also started reading and making notes from my UG. That's why I could read so many.
It would be great help.....if you will mention your books too, so that those aspirants who do not want to go through much books...and able to complete their syllabus from limited sources....😊
@@goutamsharma6312 Hello
Hey Gautam, can you please share your strategy?
@@gitikajain28 Study techniques differ from person to person. What has worked for me may not do the same for you. Yet for your convenience, I would rather share the basics that will help you to crack the nut. 1) Go thorough last 6-8 years question papers for the understanding of nature of questions and the areas that are important to study. 2) Also Go through the syllabus of graduate and post graduate syllabus of some universities like Delhi, Calcutta, BHU, JM etc. 3) Get genuine books on each topics of study. For example: if you want to study History of English literature, you must study A E Albert's Book and Oxford. Similarly, Literary terms and theory will be covered through MH Abrahams. 4) Have someone as a guide who is an expert in this field. A professor of your college or university may help you. 5) Build a smart study technique. Revision and note making are very important.
Bhai... Where have you been?? I just came across this video and instantly clicked. Didn't you have another channel before. Something called Litz? I love your content
Yes that channel was lost due to some issue. Will be posting here now. Glad you found the channel!
Sir mai BSc bio si aur MSc botany se ki hu to kya net jrf English letrature se kr sakti hu PhD ke liye eske bad job milegi ya nhi please reply 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
You can appear in UGC NET only in the subject you have done/doing your Masters in.
Non background students Ma English literature me mastery kaise laaye.. Basics kaise strong kre.. Suggest easy booklist 😢
You can begin with W. H. Hudson's History of English. William J. Long might also be useful.
@SchoolOfLiteratureYT Bhaiya Ma english me rhte rhte net english kaise nikale ..
I have already made a video on the channel about books and resources I used for my preparation. You can watch it to get an idea.
Make a playlist video for (beginners) From beginning to advanced About history of English literature

I am glad that you liked the video. 🙂
Thank you dada
I really have a penchant for reading novels. The obstacle is the work schedule. A few times I cannot motivate myself to sit and read eventually losing my interest. It's my earnest request, kindly discuss by dint of a video the manner of your reading approach. Also, what are the possible solutions to these problems.
There is a video on the channel on why reading is difficult these days. You can check it out as it has some tips that can come in handy.
Need a guide to make notes 😊
Sure. Will make a video.
@SchoolOfLiteratureYT please do. Thanks
