yeah, she did. We started with the ''regular'' process but she change after few minutes to increasing her power.

I don’t play volleyball, but I still understand what’s going on in the short. I’m a film student, and I have to say this is one of the best sports shorts I have ever seen, how this hasn’t yet reached a good amount of your demographic is bewildering to me. Great quality videos!!!!! Keep up the good work

Thank you so much for your comment, you are not the first who make this type of comment, unfortunately. I am 45 years old and I grew up in the ''real'' world, without social media. At this time when you wanted to learn something, you had to open a book or ask a competent person. Today, the most viewed videos on social media are the ones that don’t require much thought. Entertainment videos or stupid videos are the most successful and it's appalling. I would love to stay away from social media, I guess I am not, but I will still produce videos for people like YOU. Thank you Bro.

I am introducing to 16’s tomorrow that our “6 back” shouldn’t play back… because the heat map favors middle-middle (our heat is 2 feet closer and 2 feet to the left compared to your international map). They will watch your video in practice to expose them to strategic defense 🙂

@@joeharmon3301 Very smart comment sir. Glad if my video could help. Also, my advice is to create a hit map or other tools that can provide you data trajectory in the function of your play level to make sure your defense matches with your ''tendencies opponent''. Notice how she goes back to flexing/bending her wrist backwards after he tells her the wrist should be fixed. I see this same tendency in beginners. They have to unlearn "the slap" and learn how to get power from driving the fixed wrist/forearm forward to drive the hand through the ball. When I let them hit a ball or two with a closed fist they never bend the wrist back and hit the ball so much harder, often going over the net right away. This shows them they have the power to hit it over the net, but they lack technique and confidence with the open hand. We'll go back to opening the hand and often times they'll still bend the wrist back. I've wondered whether some sort of wrist brace training aid that fixes the wrist would help speed up the learning process. I think there's also a fear that they're going to injure their extended fingers. (Something they don't worry about with a closed fist.) As the student in your video slowly gained confidence in her timing, she started swinging harder, and was then fixing her hand/wrist before driving it through the ball.

Thanks Bruno, I really like your videos they give valuable informations that other coaches don't give. But maybe can you also make a video about what a middle blocker should do when the ball is received inside the 3 meter line and it's more complicated to block? Like what kind of footwork/steps and where you should look and concentrate at in order to react faster in the right direction.
