The HP ink is a subscription type thing and if you're using it as little as you said- 6 months ago- it's definitely not worth a monthly expense for you (depending on how much ink is in your area). I have the same sub. but I pay $13.99 because I print A LOT and ink here is $38 each, so paying for the subscription makes sense for me.
