Xmax Rear Brake pads replacement
Here's a video of how I changed my rear brake pads.
PLEASE NOTICE: brakes are the single most important part of your motorcycle. Brake jobs poorly made can be dangerous, so do so at your own risk.
The copaslip paste I used is just to avoid brake noise in the future, it is not necessary for a brake change.

Max Battery

Thime for a new battery. The OEM was still working but it was showing signs of weakness. The Xmax's charging system was fine so... new battery it is. The tester came from Bay. (where else?) Search for 12v battery tester.

Had a flat, so I had to remove the rear wheel. This is how I did it, it is quite easy. Didn't video changing the tire itself, plenty of great videos out there!
Xmax 125/300 Front Rotor Upgrade
Upgrading the front rotor to a better performing one is dead easy. I made the video to test my new video editing computer and because I got many questions about this new rotor. Enjoy, more to come. As for the removal of the front wheel, check out my fork oil change video.

DRL lights the easy way! Choose either taping in to the power wire or make your own OEM style connector. Xmax 125/300 Final Transmission Oil Change
Quick, easy to follow video! The recommended oil is 200 ml of 10W30 motor oil. I used specific gear oil but either is fine. I recommend pouring 230 ml in the measuring cup because some oil will stick to the cup itself and funnel and won't go in.
Xmax Reflector Stop Light w/strobe
Here's a quick, easy video for a cool DIY project. I lost some footage connecting the wire but I lost it, silly me! But it is easy, just tap into the yellow/green wire going into the stop light. The blue wire coming out of the reflector is a position light. I didn't use it because it sort of lessens the stop light effect. If you do want to use it as well, just tap the license plate positive wir...
Xmax Fork Oil Change
This is how I changed the fork oil on my Xmax 300. It is an easy job and makes for a far better, more comfortable, safer ride. It is a bit time consuming but can be easily done in an afternoon. I used 10W fork oil. Mudei o oleo da forquilha à Xmax 300. É fácil e transforma a condução. Fica mais macia, segura e confortável. Algo laborioso mas faz-se bem numa tarde. O óleo recomendado é 10W.

The video of re-installing that drain bolt looked a lot higher than 20Nm. Copper washers can be re-used by heating them up and letting them cool.

Good tutorial. I thought I'd take a look at mine. It seemed to have more play than it should and sometimes made a noise. Being a novice to scooters and rider I took it to the dealer I bought it from (used) to check and they said maybe the normal belt noise. After seeing this it was obvious....no nut on the axle! Maybe a life saver.

Acetone, nail polish remover, is great for removing old thread locker. Give it a 20 minute soak, and it falls right off.

It's way easier to use the rear brake to hold the wheel while removing & installing the axle nut. Just change up the order of operation a bit with the caliper.
