Performed on 2/22/2024 for my high school’s “young artist” competition. Update: ADVANCED TO SEMIFINALS ON MARCH 19TH!!! This performance was after around 3 months of practice. Just seeing this recording; you performed this on my birthday! You crushed this 🎶 It's not a forgiving piece for competition at all - challenging in all the ways that are hard to notice, and you still knocked it out of the park. Also, I like the foot stomps! That's a million percent what that part feels like to play hahah

What a performance!!!! Congratulations again and sorry about the four-note descending part, I know it's way harder than it needs to be 😂 pro tip if you play this again in competition: Just take out the bottom note in the right hand! Or play the first note as written, then the other 3 just play the top (its what I would do 😅) fantastic work - blown away 🤯
Very well done! I would experiment with some rubato, especially at the ends of phrases. If this was for a large ensemble audition it's a safe bet to keep it steady like you did, but some of the cadences can afford to take a bit of time in my opinion.
