Electret HV Power Supply
In this video, I take you through the first steps of creating an electret, inspired by Plasma Channel's approach but with key improvements. You'll see my high-voltage power supply setup and learn how I process high-density polyethylene (HDPE) from everyday milk jugs to prepare the electret material. I also showcase my 3D-printed enclosure design and explain the importance of adjusting the spark gap to match the material thickness for a stable charge.
This is just the beginning! In the next video, I'll demonstrate the full process of making the electret-don't miss it!

I love this. Do you sell them? Also, what about having one, that has a small gear you could turn, or a crank to quick charge the cap
No, not a lot of interest in that video. I'm glad you liked it though!

@@redesign3dp❤❤❤❤
I just watched your first video on this generator. Yes I under how the flux gate generator works. If that's all that you're demonstrating you done a good job. If you want to compare efficiency you need to measure the flux gate across a non-reactive resistance load. Don't use any LED lights or incandescent filament lights. Use an actual large enough resistance that can both handle the current and the heat without overheating or burning up. What you want to do is find a sweet spot load that allows you to have the highest voltage reading measured across the load then with the same setup take the meter and read the current and multiply the current X the voltage. Now do the same with the power supply current and voltage. You can now compare the power consumption's against each other. What are the power calculations of your motor consumption with and without driving the flux gate generator? In other words what is the power cost of just physically spinning up the flux gate generator?
If you're measuring 70 volts across a load that is drawing 2 amps through it then yes you will have a power that calculates out to a reasonably true 140 watts... In the video it appears like you're using a Fluke 179 or something in that model number family so that would be a TRUE RMS meter which means you can read non-standard wave forms and it will give you accurate voltage and even current readings even on non-standard wave forms so yes you could use it to measure raw non-standard voltage and current wave forms across a non-reactive resistive load and do the calculations with accuracy. If you're converting your voltage over to DC then yes that will even make the job easier to do the calculations. Are you reading a DC current with your mechanical meter? Is this current being measured across a load or are you doing a dead short with your generator directly across the ammeter? If you're getting your current reading by shorting the ammeter directly across the generator output that will show you the maximum current you can get out of the generator under a dead short condition but you cannot take a reading across a dead short and then use a open unloaded DC or AC voltage reading to do your power calculations with. It doesn't work that way. You have to be reading the 70 volts under a load condition or better yet, across an actual load and then read the current that is passing through the same load. If you are doing it any differently then you will be way off on the power calculations. It appears from the video that you are reading your current under a dead short condition then you are reading your voltage open and not under a load. If I'm mistaken then my bad.
Could you give me any tips/links on what to buy for a tank fpv setup?

That's the simplest fpv setup, you just need power to the camera. Mount it on anything you want. Thanks for stopping by!

@ Very cool, thank you
Looks good! When will offer units?
I guess when I have people interested. Looks like I have 1 so far??
@@redesign3dp Do you have one ready?
No I'm neck deep in Holiday stuff, I do have a very cool enclosure half designed for it.
You may consider charging a 12v battery with the output. That provides an easy way to measure output power and calculate overall efficiency. In any case, great design and fabrication. These generators are certainly unconventional.
That's a good observation, you got me thinking. I have 3000 f supercaps that might provide a better short circuit condition
I want to buy this
Did you check the Rpm difference of the motor for the more efficient mode?
0:19 Not BEDINI. And remember: AI audio: Instant Thumb Down.
Sorry bro, it streamlines my video making. Making a video is a whole production. There are many parts. Voice over is one of them. What matters is concise explanation of the subject matter. I hope you can look past a knee jerk reaction based off 19 secs. No one is Bedini, he's a one of a kind legend. ✨️
thats very interesting thanks
Yes sir! Thanks for dropping by!
Nice build! Try driving the motor with just a DC source, not a pulse configuration. When you short the coils it should speed up and power draw should decrease. Make sure the coils are wound properly. The patent description is backwards.. you have to reverse it.
I'll keep that in mind when I return to that project. Thanks for the advice.
Where did you buy the frequency generator???
Everything is from Amazon
Listening to an AI is a bit annoying...
Sorry about that, it makes my workflow faster.
Looks like the perfect system Nice work bro !
This is exactly what I needed. Thank you
Glad I could help!

Already working on it...
Nice find
Awesome Thanks for sharing

I'm curious if the motor performance is the same or better after the scavenger circuit is introduced. The purpose of any scavenging should be the improvement of the overall power consumption of the system and not to harm the main functionality, in this case, motor performance.
Right. This scavenger circuit when tuned right don't effect the motors performance. It slightly reduces the power input while gaining the ability to pull of additional energy for powering a small secondary load.
I was just going to ask you if you seen the plasma channel episode 😅😂
He cracked the code for us. I tried making one a long time ago and failed. Go figure.
@redesign3dp yea, I have been interested in this subject for decades now too. I told him to put plates on it and pulse discharge it to an LED, wonder if he'll try.... Kron did some work on this too. I bet the secret circuit Bedini used on his "earth lights" would work amazing on that electret if used as a capacitor.
Sounds like you need one to experiment with
@redesign3dp lol, yea to pile onto everything else I need to do now 😅.
