The major parts used are listed in the description. I have another video on the rear axle swap. I fabricated the front spindles with mild steel. You'll need a metal-cutting saw, welder, and a die to thread rods.

I did a video on the rear end. You will need that and improved steering before anything else. I can answer any questions you may have in the process.

@@EpsilonZeroKarts I saw the rear video. What did you use for the front steering links? I thought of buying the right hands side parts and mirroring it on the left, until that didn’t make any sense 🥴.

@@Nohoze I used angle iron, flat bar, and rod that I threaded with a die to fabricate the spindles. I also press fit an Oilite bronze flange bushing to replace the worn ones on the kart. Some regular tie rods connected to the pitman arm with the hole bored out a little worked fine.

He has a couple more years of experience and has somehow escaped death so I'll be upping the power soon. If the kart does wheelies, he might be easier to see than just the headlight, wig wags, running lights, horn, and police lights that are on it now.

It is a 24s4p 38120HP (Headway) 32Ah battery. The controller is a Kelly KLS96701-8080NPS.

Nope. I modded it with three axle bearings though so it can survive jumping raised manholes at 40mph.

@@EpsilonZeroKarts thanks man, I'm building a powerwheels converted to proper EV and will have pretty similar power. Wanted to see what people run for chain size.

@@straightouttheshed Sure thing. I have switched controllers a couple of times and have a different motor as well since this video. The kart has a lot more acceleration and the chain is still holding up. I'm considering another motor swap for more torque so maybe there is still hope for breaking the #420.

@@EpsilonZeroKarts sounds awesome man, for my build Im thinking about pairing up electro and co trumoto noisy cricket 375a controller with their qs165 and 60v on 420 chain. Electro has advised me this should be seriously powerful with good low torque

@@darkchampion4069 It can be pretty expensive. One with a small engine is a lot cheaper and easier to build, though not as fast.

I'm waiting for the road construction to finish on some development nearby. I'll have a "track" for a little while.
