I love this song. But I have to say this is the most dispassionate version I’ve ever heard. Technically perfect, but it lacks any real emotion. Sad.

I sure am glad I decided to add the mandolin to my string instruments. It has brought me so many different sorts of excellent music I had not been exposed to in my first 60 years!

I don't mean to sound insulting, but I think you made this song too busy and cheerful sounding. It should sound simple and sad. A fiddle and guitar is all you need. I think the simplicity is the beauty of it. Just my thoughts.
