I I always wondered what makes a poem beautiful in Chinese. I know Arabic, French, English, and my native language, i can feel the beauty of words in those languages, but Chinese i still struggle, may be because I am a beginner in Chinese language.

Nice idea with the vertical vocabulary style. I would have a question though. At 3:32 & 3:45 - I thought that "he" links only nouns. I googled a little and found out in an "advanced grammar" that it may sometimes link also verbs or adjectives but it's still not very common (according to that one source). May I ask how it is?
