Cool concept yet it will be completely inaccurate as it has no good way to tell how much of the food is actually on the plate and even if it can somehow accurately estimate the weight of the food on the photo there’s still stuff under other food on the plate it couldn’t calculate
If it’s a complex dish or some food is hidden you may need to edit manually, but how else would you track food eating out? This is the best and simplest way to track unless you want to bring a food scale to dinner 😅
@@Tommcgeefit it’s actually not the best way to track and would be worse than not tracking at all because it very easily will mislead people into thinking they’ve eaten so many calories when they have eaten more or less than that number because it cannot be accurate, you know that you can’t calculate the calories in a dish from just a photo of it don’t play dumb
@@Tommcgeefit also the only way to track the food remotely accurately when eating out is hoping they measure the food and have the calories listed or like you said bring a food scale
@@JoseffMcCarthy This will be better than most people can estimate and instead of arguing with me just try it and see for yourself first. Also FDA guidelines say food labels can be up to 20% inaccurate, which can still upload the label if you want but no one is brining a food scale to a restaurant and dissecting their plate
@@Tommcgeefit it might be better than what most people can estimate but it will still be wildly inaccurate and anyone with common sense should be able to recognize that, if you think it won’t be wildly inaccurate take a photo using your app and then measure out the food and see what it really is

The very thought of using an artificial intelligence to analyze and deconstruct a snapshot of one’s nourishment is akin to playing a perilous game of Russian roulette with one’s nutritional well-being. To trust an LLM with such a crucial task as calculating calories is akin to throwing oneself into the fiery furnace of uncertainty, hoping the algorithm of fate would spit out the golden numbers of truth and not the ashen lies of error. My comment explains this by saying that even setting the randomness or “temperature” of the AI’s output to such a high amount as 0.7 would most likely in fact make the AI more accurate! The concept of utilizing artificial technology (I assume you are using an LLM) to calculate calories using a mere photograph of sustenance is quite frankly asinine. It is akin to a child playing with fire, with life and death hanging in the balance. Such reliance on the fickle precision of an AI’s arbitrary numbers is reckless. Oh, the irony of it all! To trust a digital construct--a simulation, a mere imitation--to calculate what should remain held in the consumer’s eye.

How much of these should one eat or drink in a day? I suffer from chronic gas and bloating. I’m currently waiting to take several tests but as of now I eat very little because when I bloat so much I’m stuck burping for 4 hours or so. Feels like I can’t breathe every time this happens. Even drinking water makes me burp for hours

What I really don't like about vid's like this is being fooled. I am a small space enthusiast and I enjoy seeing how individuals deal with today's conspicuous consumption. This turned out to be a hidden commerical for someone's VRBO ! Shame on you for leading individuals down the path of calm with your unneeded investment.
