Your home -- the setting all absolutely beautiful. I too find minimalist living in a peaceful oasis therapeutic for our soul & mental health. Clarity is simple when realizing you don't need more than you need 🤔. There's something liberating ... a feeling of freedom when you're not weighed down by stuff nor need to work harder or longer (unless you choose) to maintain a lifestyle. #itsabreathoffreshair
What I really don't like about vid's like this is being fooled. I am a small space enthusiast and I enjoy seeing how individuals deal with today's conspicuous consumption. This turned out to be a hidden commerical for someone's VRBO ! Shame on you for leading individuals down the path of calm with your unneeded investment. Your approach to garnering business was sneaky. And shame on the people who support business' like this.
@tommcgeefit - Would you be able to tell me the name of the architect and the construction company? It's really beautiful! We live in GA, just wanted to know if we can make something beautiful like this here. Thank you!
Who would have thought these two are rappers with the way they sing. Love how Jennie is so versatile and unafraid to explore and try different genres. Jennie is a queen, thanks for appreciating her ❤
Beautiful grounds. However, I need just a little more space, everywhere. Not a lot, just a bit more. Murphy bed? Absolutely not. Gets old very, very, fast. Lofts are a waste of valuable space. The combo loft/bedroom is a no go. I need a full bedroom w/bath. Finally, the thought of traversing that ladder to make a bathroom run in the middle of the night, is frightening. Not happening. Obviously, this tiny home is not the place for me. Admittedly, I'm spolied, and, at the same time, claustrophobic, but the setting, and features of the surrounding grounds are amazing.
I have a pet turtle. I had cats for years, and haven’t had one since 2009. I would like a little dog when I retire in a few years. Not everyone is cut out for that furry friend life. They sometimes tear up your home, get sick, and create odors that can’t be removed. Furry friends can often cost you a lot of money, and when you are single, living alone, it’s challenging finding someone to take care of it when you want to get away. Been there. Done that.
I don't get it, if this tiny house sits on 2 1/2 acres, why not build a bigger house? Love the outdoors and the stone stairs to the river. But I would have build a bigger house with private bedrooms and a covered veranda facing the river.
I don’t get it. Why do so many Americans think bigger is better, including the desire to have huge homes they don’t need, are harder to clean, cost more to own (furnish, taxes, mortgage, maintenance, etc.), when a smaller space would suit them just fine. A bigger house is just a want/desire not a need.
@@jamesmcguire9164It''s not only americans that thinks like that when it comes to building houses. I Denmark new houses are build bigger and bigger 😮💨 Personally I don't want a big house and that's why I dream about a tiny house. The biggest apartment I've ever lived in was 75m²/800 sqft and it was way too big even though we were 2 people living together. Right now I live alone in 26m²/280 sqft and even if I meet someone in the future I wouldn't need more than 50m²/540 sqft.
a coffee nook ?? you mean a cupboard ! the cutting board idea was done in the 1950s its not new. The hidden bath is also a design of old . OK, the house is nice but some of the things inside it are actually old fashioned , the murphy bed , could have been better without having to move the seating. The hidden bath .... why ? It couldve been incorporated into a bath shower combo. Sorry , not really impressed.

Good to see a house where the kitchen isn't the first space you enter. The house works well for the most part, although I don't like the ladder.
Thank you! I understand the library ladder isn’t for anyone but I never had an issue with it
😂😂😂 Age and an increasing fear of heights is my problem. I need stairs with a handrail for me to grasp firmly.
Great home ! A ladder is not for everyone but an actual staircase could be created with a banister instead. Not a big deal !
