Rosie, the kiwi cat who wants to be petted and doesn't want at the same time!
Most of my hosts in New Zealand had cats, and this she-cat in particular was lovely.
Introducing Rosie from Onerahi, a beauty of Northland. She loves to be petted, and don't like it at the same time! She calls for it, then goes away, then throw herself down like asking for more.
She has a special pretty face with round eyes and a lovely pink-brown fur.
In new Zealand most of houses are made of wood, and i guess that's the reason there are so many cats. There is a need to contain the rodent population.
Much the better for me: I love cats!

While the sea lions doze blissfully on the beach, an immense flock of seagulls gathers on the shoreline, and then flies away in progression. At least I think they are seagulls, I'm not sure. Rain is a rather common phenomenon in New Zealand, I have rarely seen it rain so much in Europe. I was in Auckland, and after this storm the sky turned yellow and orange. It was spectacular, so I took a video, and as I turned to film it I realized that there was a truly immense rainbow lighting up the sky. Never saw one so huge in my whole life. Truly wonderful!
