What suspension do you have under this truck? I have a 76 f100 with a BBF im putting together. It has Caltracs and stock springs.

@@droppedf100 it's coming, we have a new class here at Shadyside. Carolina Street Truck Warz It's geared to real street trucks and to be a fun heads up class with a 5.99 breakout. Most of the folks have S10's with LSs but there are 4 F100's one has a Wicked FE on nitrous, Two BBF's on Nitrous and mine.. wish you were closer you could help us send the "mini" trucks packin

you make me want to get back in the game so bad.......... is there anywhere where i could read specs. i have my late father's mild 76lwb 460/c6. ive been all over forums reading and looking into the 385 series and c6. i was a SBC guy 20 years ago but i got out of it. anyways i love the build and i hope you have a wonderful day, cant wait to see it spray btw my SBC days were all nos/fogger plate/wetshots made many unintended inspection ports in the block.
@@killercurl1 unintended inspection ports 🤣. Basic set up really. 466 stock rods, ported d0ve’s with big valves, Victor, custom solid flat tappet, 750, 1 7/8 hooker super comps, built c6 rollerized with a trans brake, 3.70 gears
Nice sound. I wanted to ask is this motor all stock and you just put a turbo in it or is there anything done to it like cams or heads. Im thinking of building a turbo 351w all stock motor just better intake and piston heads it would help a lot if you tell me. Thanks.
@@malakasmalakas8816 a stock 351w will handle boost just fine to a point. Had a self induced wastegate issue when it was a stock bottom end and it broke a connecting rod. Now it has h beam rods and forged pistons. Plus TFS11R190 heads, TFS stage 2 cam, Victor jr intake, CSU carb
@@droppedf100 Thanks. Do u think a stock 351w will handle 7-8psi with better pistons and do u think i need better rods or will they handle it. Also did u notice a big performance difference with a different cam or heads
@@malakasmalakas8816 a completely stock 351w can handle that no problem. This truck previously was a stock 302 so the heads and cam were installed on the 351w all at one time. They will work on a stock 351w too.

Drove it to work today. Still runs good but somehow after a bunch of upgrades it’s not quite as fast as it once was. I swapped from a stock obd2 ecu to a Stinger pimpxshift MS3 based systems and it seems to have lost power. Been fighting it for a bit and if I don’t figure something out it may end up getting coyote or Godzilla swapped

That turbo is good for 650 wheel you had something else going on
This is my first turbo build but from what I’ve read and heard it seems they can make big power on a 4cyl but on a v8 with nice heads they start becoming a restriction. I’m going to swap gate springs to see if it can hold 10-12psi but with the manual controller it would spike boost and immediately drop down to 7

3.31 and no stock intake, stock air filter, full stock exhaust, full weight
