I loved breath of the wild but felt no desire to play tears after seeing the tedious new Minecraft style abilities. I'd prefer if they went way deeper into combat

They practically retconned a shit load of stuff in the first game that would've served as a great and interesting stepping stone for the sequel like all of the theory videos were based on- and so many questions went unanswered, characters were shoved off, some of them don't even remember link, the two new planes of the world being the sky and underground have a stark lack of unique content variety or just content in general and was useless to implement, the dungeon designs overall suck, and the amount of bs filler content without proper reward motivation is insane. There's a maybe 3 percent of the game that is peak and the new mechanics of fusing n stuff is cool but it doesn't mean much when the puzzles are easily cheesed- it's not a puzzle anymore if there's more than one solution. Problem does not equal puzzle. This is like if a child who barely remembered playing BOTW decided to be the head of production and said "we should stick stuff together and like have lots of caves and can go in the sky and the ground really far" and just said to make up new lore that wasn't even properly established in the first game. Yes there are connections to the first game but they're so few and far between it's like Nintendo is somehow embarrassed BOTW exists. Maybe I'm just more and more cynical as I get older but this isn't even just a bad sequel but even as a stand alone game it falls extremely flat. Lacking unique content variety, has uninteresting characters (with only a couple exceptions), bloated as hell filler content, lack of decent motivational rewards for quests or exploration, annoying characters at times, tedious ux design in tandem with the new mechanics whose novelty is both a blessing and detriment to this game, and really should have been thought through more, taken more time in production, and release on the switch 2 instead.

You're not the problem. I was your age when BOTW came out and it is my favourite game to this day. The TOTK mechanics don't contribute or transform the original BOTW experience in a meaningful way. And overall TOTK feels like a quantity over quality game. I also just don't vibe with spending several minutes on a zonai contraption for it to not work and I could have just walked in the same time. Whenever I walk past a zonai device I am reminded of how clunky they feel to build and operate.

Hey it's better than a DLC winning game of the year or DLC being nominated for Game Of The Year......that would be bad

Honestly Tyler has always been introspective through music. All of the characters he’s created are him but always dismissed it as just a character or art. That’s why when people Criticized his art it felt like he personally was criticized. I’m 27 I remember the odd future hype. If remember how he use to say “F@ggot” all the time fast forward in the future he opened up about his sexuality. One song on the album mentioning closeted aggressive and dismissive men seems as he’s talking to those guys but in reality that’s his self hate from his own actions. He’s just brave enough to express in music but not brave enough to say “hey I was that guy” as Tyler the creator he has to create a character instead to protect himself. He’s a victim of his once villainy he use to call “trolling”. He’s maturing now and projecting what was once internalized through his art which is a good thing, he can be a hypocrite at times but humility cures this. He’s a genuine guy who’s made mistakes like everyone else, I personally didn’t like how he handled the OF situation back then and never really addressed it but everyone has grown from then I think forgiveness, accountability and acceptance is apart of growth

I think the best approach to art for yourself recently has been Porter Robinson. The most recent album being the farthest departure from what got him seen like "Divinity", "Sad Machine", and "Language". Smile :D ventured so far into the territory of his fears as an artist and how just like his fans who made his music their entire personality as a coping mechanism or not and points out that in a way on the other side he is the same and can't live without them. Songs about the struggle of success and how it smothers out you life existed in nurture already however the approach in "Picture Perfect Garden" feels more like he's having to chase normalcy with the line "somebody's gotta say the things I'm trying not to say." either referencing the inability to speak your mind or more likely in my opinion "please someone tell me to quit and live a normal life with my wife. This album however seams to take the opposite and less holistic approach while trying to seem like "I've got it figured out" while creating instead a sense of dissonance without direction or hint of a push and pull. What I'm trying to say is he's lost in the sauce and doesn't know it.

This takes seems abysmal every company does that if it does not make a certain money within a certain amount of time it dies off. It was nice enough they paid homage to every bit of generation that we got.

I hate these games because the hero who dawns the color green and wields a mystical sword isnt in these games. Master sword is an optional side quest like dude…. Give me at least one sword that doesnt break. Idc about magnet and freezy powers

I loved totk the first playthrough I did everything and it was amazing but replaying it for the second time is a slog yet I can replay botw multiple times with no issues

Breath of the Wild was a fun experiment…. But the novelty worse off before the game was even done. So tears of the kingdoms feels stale, as soon as you start playing it and none of its gimmicks are present enough to make it feel new.
