Electric wheel hub motor with high recuperative brake
The entire drive integration in the wheels of electric cars enables completely new vehicle drive train concepts and liberties with the interior design. Central motor, external gearing, differentials, axels, and drive-shafts are no longer required, which leads to an enormous gaining of free space for the passenger compartment or other car components. Fully new car concepts and designs will become feasible. As well it can help to reduce weight and costs and increase the efficiency of the whole drive system. In addition, wear out and maintenance expenditures are reduced to a minimum. Decentralized electric drives also enable new functionalities mainly concerning vehicle dynamics. This aspect counts especially for wheel hub motors because of the direct access to the wheels without any component in between. Another significant advantage is that direct drives in general are not prone to oscillations during load changes compared to central drives with transmission gear, coupling, and drive-shaft.
High torque and power densities are achieved. Furthermore, it is designed to be used in typical automotive conditions and vicinities. Indisputably a wheel hub motor adds more weight to the rim.

can you imagine what kind of car it is with different suspension and power tires
Soft Vs Stiff Springs
Переглядів 316 тис.3 роки тому
Soft Vs Stiff Springs Is it better for a suspension to have soft coil springs or stiff springs? The purpose of a suspension is to keep your tires on the ground. A softer suspension will offer more mechanical grip as it will do a better job of keeping the tires on the ground vs a stiff suspension when it comes to depressions, bumps, and surface irregularities in the road. But then why do race ca...
Air Bag Suspension working principle
Переглядів 498 тис.3 роки тому
The installation and configuration of these systems varies for different makes and models but the underlying principle remains the same. The metal spring (coil or leaf) is removed, and an air bag, also referred to as an air spring, is inserted or fabricated to fit in the place of the factory spring. When air pressure is supplied to the air bag, the suspension can be adjusted either up or down (...
Horizontal spring double wishbone suspension
Переглядів 1,8 млн3 роки тому
The double-wishbone suspension can be referred to as "double A-arms", though the arms themselves can be A-shaped, L-shaped, or even a single bar linkage. A single wishbone or A-arm can also be used in various other suspension types, such as variations of the MacPherson strut. The upper arm is usually shorter to induce negative camber as the suspension jounces (rises), and often this arrangement...
Off-road super suspension
Переглядів 1,2 тис.3 роки тому
In more recent years the off-road industry as a whole has been moving away from sky-high lifts in favor of striking a balance between fitting as larger a tire as you can while lifting the least amount possible to achieve that goal. It makes complete sense, everyone knows a lift and big tires will change your center of gravity, potentially to the point of being dangerous depending on how you dri...
Driving on a Cloud: How Do Air Suspensions Work?
Переглядів 6133 роки тому
Magic carpet ride or a mechanical nightmare waiting to happen? Your car would be unbearable to drive without its suspension. You'd likely need a chiropractic appointment by the time you made it out of your neighborhood. Not only does suspension support (or suspend) the weight of a vehicle, it keeps body movements under control when you hit a bump and improves ride quality by isolating the vehic...

- MacPherson: Simple, efficient and don't take much space. However, it doesn't have much travel. Perfect for compact economy cars. - Double wishbone: Has a lots of travel and can be engineered to work the camber according to the vehicle's purpose. Arguably the most versatile of all independent suspensions. But takes a lots of space. Multi-link: Has a lots of "play", which helps with both stability and comfort, but has a complex geometry and thanks to having more smaller components than most of the other suspension types, can be quite fragile. Usually seen as rear suspension in premium sedans and coupes.
Valeu madrugada
First 1 is multi link and second one is double wishbone type
Which suspension best ?
My bike has like this one side soft and one side hard..
The bottom one is independent
Good video but could do without the music too much lol
I have double wish bone suspension on my car. Very comfortable.
I have double wishbone suspension, with bilstien B4 touring dampmatic struts. Very nice ride
Broo, what is this weird music.
Double wish bone type suspension system
bottom is independent and no shaked
Pipe type larger torsional spring link to axles. VW tiguan Bar type problems, underscaled:( spring brake then without, domino effect. Also 4WD could be back with electrics, no gravel rocket needed, small power in low speed is enough. P=Fv, P power F force v velocity.
I think it's a multilink and second is a SLA suspension
bullshit video, the bottom just shows the steering and the other two are the same mechanism, double wishbone
double wishbone FTW
The second one
Quadrilatero and quadrilatero alto
Trophy sus
Push rod and Macpherson strut
Is this the rear suspension? Don't see a steering mech The wheel travels without bumps while simply accelerating - so that has to be load transfer to the rear susp right?
Both of them are double wishbone suspension
both double a
Double wishbone
Bad video, dont show differences
Absolutely no expenation.
I love that someone is putting these kind of videos up in my algorithm thanks !!!!
Rocker Arm Suspension
Can not recommend the top one, geometry is way off, effective spring rate and damping nearly zero at bottom. Basicly wants to bottom out on every major bump.
Top one multi-link, double wishbone the other.
Macpherson dont have upper control arm
Please tell the type of suspension
McPherson Strut
Lol one is 125,000$ other is 350$ a month 😋
Damn look at the flex!.. Way to many moving parts to take a crap on you all at the sane time, lol.. $$$$$👀
Both are double wishbone suspensions. They are literally the same it’s just that one’s spring is directly connected to the hub while the other is connected to the hub by a pushrod.
Suspension gives you wings 💸
The song makes the video great
stupid noisy bgm
Double wishbone suspension is the best
Bro the fucking music
💀💀💀
Thank you, so much.
Bottom one
I came for the science, stayed for the bass.
Both are double wishbone. Top is pushrod actuated, bottom is normal
Right
Both are doble wishbone suspension.
I thought top is just push rod or cantis
Me and my air sus
What vehicle has it ...
All suburus to 2012 had muti link independent suspension pretty disappointing even honda had Double wish bone suspension, it increases the handling and comfortability and honesty wear on the shock because when hitting the bump with the double wish bone suspension control arm absorbs some of the bumps so yeah you the shocks need to replace more often on muti link suspension
what the fuck are you talking about? what the fuck is your point?
