Hate the new announcement and motor sounds, they just take away the rustic horror vibe of the Central and Bakerloo lines, which is part of the joy of riding them.

yeah same as an old-time commuter, it's nostalgic but they really needed that upgrade.
the "nice sounding" dc motors were unreliable constantly broke down... i think this upgrade is good for them, the old motors might "sound nicer" but i would not sacrifice reliability just for that.

How did you manage to get to the platform?
I'm going to guess that you'd just sign into the station. No platform tickets is my guess so this is the next best guess. If so then from personal experience at Paddington you'll need to bring ID or something.

These trains r really good and fast, but tbh for being the newest deep level tube train, the ventilation is really bad, it feels like a sauna on hot summer days. Their acceleration is sound cool though, but nothing can beat the 96 stock’s sound.

That doesn’t seem safe to me. The train should stop to see if there’s anyone on the platform and only if it’s safe to carry on, should they proceed. A few letters getting there on time aren’t worth someone getting injured.

The UK Network is a VERY busy network. It’s very routine for trains to speed through at line speed and is perfectly acceptable. I assume you aren’t from the UK?
