Oh my goodness! You made a sloth! 🦥 Cute!
Thanks for watching!
Love it!😊👍 What latex paint do you use as your base coat? Just a flat black housepaint? I like the way the drybrushing really makes it come to life.
Thanks for watching. I like a semi gloss finish it holds up and looks rich under the other paints I use to dry brush. If I am doing g out door paint I try to get paint from a paint store instead of a box store. They are mu h higher quality even though they have the same brand name.
Awesome! Looks fun to do.😊
It was! Thanks for watching.
I love it! That's the way I am too. If i can just let loose and create whatever,.. just play n take my time with it, whether it's good or not so good, I still just get in a zone and everything else just falls away. Kinda like a meditative state I think. But it just gets me refreshed and recentered. There's also something about taking a little piece of nature that most don't look twice at, and giving it a whole different life. Your carves are always inspiring, from the simpler ones to the stunning intricately dynamic ones. As always, thank you for sharing.💯🙏😊
Thanks for watching! I make these videos for people like you. I appreciate your kind words!
So fun to watch.😊 I don't know if I'll ever get into commissions, probably, but eh 🤷♀️. I just want to have fun with it n make what I want to make. It's that flow state that I love. I love this lil bear too.😊❤
Thanks for watching!
Appreciate the video.💯I really want to learn all the tips and tricks to keep my tools in great shape.👍😊
Glad I could help!
Happy thanksgiving to you all. I hope you have a great time together. 😊 Also, these pieces are fantastic!! 😍🤩🥰 Thank you for sharing. Painting is new to me. Only have some acrylic paints and some spray paints. A friend gave me an airbrush but I have to get a compressor to use it and practice. I worry I'll screw up my carvings, but 🤷♀️ gotta learn somehow.😅 I just jump into it n see what happens. If I hate it then I can always paint it a solid color n do some dry brushing, or a wash to try n save it. I love the techniques you used painting these, it helps just watching how you use the paints and colors. If you have a long video(s) of this process, I'd love to see them.
Thanks for watching. I have so many videos now I have forgotten what's on what. Lol
Unfortunately I imagine that actor and voice actor jobs will be replaced by AI in the very near future.
AI is the devil 😈
Thankfully,There have been protections put in place after the SAG-AFTRA strikes from this year that protect VA from having their voice exploited. Especially with large projects from say Disney or Warner Brothers (and probably smaller companies as well) are now given paperwork stating, "Are you okay or not okay with us using your voice through AI?" And actors are now given the chance to say yes or no. Where before the strikes took place, pretty much any company could use their likeness for anything they choose, regardless of how the actor felt about it, and if they were no longer living, the families would not be contacted or compensated. Hopefully, those new protections will stay in place.
I'm not sure what happened to my previous comment (or if it just didn't load properly), but thankfully, there have been protections put in place for actors against AI after the SAG -AFTRA strikes took place this year. The majority of the industry was completely okay with using actors' likeness and voice without consent from the actors themselves or the families (if the actor is deceased). After the strikes took place and there was a middle ground that companies could agree upon, actors can now have consent over how their likeness and voice are used. Of course, there's lots of room for improvement, but it's certainly better than companies just doing what they please with no consequences. Hope that explanation clarifies things :)
❤
Did she take her shoes off before she walked inside?
Not sure what that means?
That piece you were working on is so cool-great job! Coloring really made it pop
Thanks!
Oh this was fun to watch! Thanks for sharing the video of your class. Jen, you are a kick!😂 And as usual, so are you Jeff. I'm also an older woman, new to chainsaw carving, at 50. I think we reach a certain stage and we just want to focus and live for ourselves a bit more, do something that fills our own cup so to speak. I started Dremel carving about two or three years ago, and have accumulated a few more power tools and a battery saw as well. I got hooked on carving for sure. Absolutely love it! An in person class like this looks incredible! I've only learned from watching hours n hours of UA-cam videos, and about an hour of hands on with my new saw,...just so I wouldn't lose a limb or something crazy. (Never used or was around chainsaws til I bought one.) This class looks incredibly informative and super fun. It's definitely on my bucket list! Where do I find information on your classes, and signing up?
I made a video all about it. Thanks for the kind words and for your interest. ua-cam.com/video/d4LRRSxWAPs/v-deo.htmlsi=C6QfHLNRfkc4o5rZ
@BigRagufromAT Fantastic! Thank you for sharing it with me! ☺️
Very nice. I started chainsaw carving two years ago at the age of 62- a life long dream.. Your carvings are awesome, bud. Good job.
Thanks, and thanks for watching.
Well done. Looks amazing.
Thanks for watching.
These people are sick. To think they can run and direct your life.
Hello, friend! Yes, the world is not so simple now. But when was it simple? Yes, probably never! In all times and eras, something happened that some people liked and others didn’t like! But I agree with you, you have to remain human yourself and move on with your life ! Best regards from Russia! I'm also a chainsaw woodcarver, I live in St. Petersburg!
Wow, thanks for watching!
Barn is looking pretty great!
Great concept
Thank you for sharing this! Bilderberg Group, council on Foreign Relations. These groups control all these meetings. The book “The Creature from Jekyll Island” explains the state of our world economics! Scary
Thanks for watching! I will check it out.
BEST looking gnomes I’ve seen yet! Curious as to what wood you use for making these?
I use White Pine. Thanks for watching.
Interesting what else could you say at the World economic forum,at least it was said. Yes I have known about this for a long time although like most people I tend to ignore this other than what is reported on the news. I suppose the question is does a meeting of Billionaires and Countries actually accomplish anything. In appreciation for all your deep thinking, informative videos, love the eyes by the way may I suggest a google search? 'Neil deGrasse Tyson says AI will kill the internet. The Don Lemon Show' Thanks have fun🤓
Thanks I will. Thanks for watching!
Been following the WEF since 2015. That is when I finally woke up to the realities of the world and who really runs it. Welcome to the party pal. For anyone reading this look up "Event 201" "Agenda 2030" "Cyberpolygon" "You will own nothing and be happy"
Crazy to think that people have gotten that rich to the point of being overlords of the world. Thanks for watching!
@@BigRagufromAT The world is run by maniacal, unelected billionaires. (Soros Shwabb Gates and more) Most of the politicians work for them. YT sensors anything that goes against the narrative. Seek out other video platforms that are less censored for the truth. I can't name them here or my comment will be deleted. Glad people are waking up.
Nice work sir
Thanks, and thanks for watching 👀
Reminds me of Kamala's word salads. Here is how to answer this question: "My experience was this: first year x, second year x, third year x, peak year x, now I average x. Here's how many carvings I made each of those years."
Thanks for your input.
Unfortunately, that is not at all how the carving business works it's different for everyone. The question is a loaded one. Your prescription as to how the question should be answered is nieve at best. We all start from different backgrounds and financial situations. I cover all that in the video. Some people are born artistic. Others can sell like crazy but can't carve a lick. It sounds like your looking for the pill but the truth is there isn't one available. This game is unfair if you want to make it you have to play the cards you have been given at the point of entry. Some folks have a better hand coming in then others, which makes them more successful then others...like I said it's a loaded question there is no real answer until the end of the video, but why would you skip all the lessons only to hear the end result? There will be nothing of substance learned. Get the lesson first and everything else will be far more understandable in the end. First, learn how and why, then concern yourself with how much.
Great video Jeff!
Thanks for watching.
Always good, informative and valuable from the 60's club. 🤗

Hi Jeff, Hi Wanda! I come from Maine, too! Jeff, I have been working on a piece with some help from Nerissa Eichinger and she just raves about her time with you and has me convinced that I should try to schedule some time with you. I'll be in touch soon to see when your schedule might be able to accommodate me. Gene

Great video. Do you know what carving bar that 66 year old hottie was using on her Stihl ? I am 65 fixin to try chainsaw carving, I think that bar would help me , I have the Stihl MSA 60C. Thanks
The battery saws she used was the msa 120 with a 6 inch Samurai legend bars. You can look up a guy called Jamie Doeren on FB he sells them. Thanks for watching!

Nice video and nice carving. Do you need to varnish the carving after this kind of paintjob?
