Life was better then and you can't convince me otherwise
The city changed a lot the noise is still the same. I miss the twin towers. So sad. It was my birthday and they were burning that day. The smell, the lives lost, what a tragedy…watching them fall.
I miss these days when I was a kid. The Super Nintendo, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and doing homework from school!

PAREIDOLIA? Next to the Twin Towers lived 'The Fatties' (Los Gorditos)..A family of four 4️⃣ similar buildings in differents sizes: dad, mom, son and daughter. 🫣 On the day of the tragic catastrophe (9/11/2001) They seem watched in amazement ..as the Towers fell together 🤯....They are still there and I think have new 'neighbors' ha ha😄
That was when my family and i traveled to new york for a vacation . I still remembere it like it was yesterday

Sublime. Great footage. Really like the opening of the wing of the plane view from the window turning into a paper plane. Nice graphics.
Impressive Gothic Architecture twin towers are..❤❤❤..Truely missed and will always be remembered...the world is still devastated with what happened ..💔💔..They would have stayed up if fire hazard saftey concerns were implemented from the very start of construction back in the late 60s and 70s...yet there was no fire hazard material innovation yet around to protect taller buildings.. to protect the inner structural core💔💔 and cladding..a bit like what happened to Grenfell Towers in London recently..which was built in the 60s decade, no innovative material yet to protect all of the building .... Authorities apparently wanted to redo the build all over again of the twin towers..meaning put the construction cranes back up at the top..and reverse its construction before the unknoen devastation happened..sad all this..If correction happened before the attack.. NY would have been okay💔💔..the whole world..myself, family and adoptive mother watched the whole thing on TV..and it was horrific..💔💔
1993 this was taken then 9.11 happened in 2001
This was December 8th 1993 we went to rockefellercenter on December 19th 1993 .
What a lovely day.
I went to rockefellercenter that year as one of My Christmas presents what a special gift because I turned 13 and with the twin towers
I really love watching videos when the WTC still existed. There's never going to be a pair of buildings like that, with so much elegance and distinction.
There they are folks, the towers, the twin freaking towers folks. Sends a chill right up my spine seeing them sitting there, wish I could've warned those people before it happened to not go into work. They didn't do anything to deserve what happened to them.
Compare this footage to that HD footage from the same year. It’s like night and day difference
Por culpa de George w bush ya no están las torres gemelas

Cool

If the dollar falled down , then bye bye new York 😅
My mom was very young at that time, and i was a new born baby at that time, and now i'm a 29 yr old guy almost 30,time passes by so quickly
большое яблоко как знаю так называют Нью-Йорк?
я из России и часто пересматриваю фильм Джона Карпентера ,, побег из Нью-Йорка,, с Куртом Расселом . отличный фильм 81 года.
👏👏👍
That transition of being on the plane to being in New York feels so bad but so good at the same time
Twins towers ❤
"dA 90s wErE gReAt" Yeah. Whole Yugoslavia is on a Decade long Civil War, Chaos in the African Continent, Violence in Latin America, Economic Instabilities, Poverty, Political Related Violence, etc. Nothing was great in the 20th century for the Second and Third World countries.
I could watch videos like this all day. I was 16 in 93. What a great era for almost everything. Great video!
Are you 45 or 46?
@@Epilson231 I turned 46 in March.
Im born on 1993 and i think new york better than today
For 5 years nobody gave like nor comment WOW I am so honored to do so😊😊😊
Hi! i am interested in using some of the aereal views in your video for a musical video for a song our band is working on. the images would be edited and processed so it would not necessarily end up looking exactly like your material, let me know how to reach you . best!
I wish I was 27 in 1993.
NYC is a disaster now
It’s crazy to think that 8 years later a tragedy will happen in that same city
What makes the 90's great is that, there was enough technology, people still knew how to live life, embracing the moments. I guess the generation that lived during the 90's were the luckiest of all humankind. A peaceful time to live in.
Peaceful, but not in the Eastern Europe or some other parts of the world. Maybe just in the US.
@@NomadicDmitrydefinitely just peaceful in the U.S. Central America was riddled with wars, as well
@@Informacionalist Yugoslav wars too...
Every country has a sort of golden per-technology era. For us Argentinians, it was around 2006 to 2015. As a poorer country, we had delays when catching up to technology, so, for instance, the Internet was just starting to become a household commodity, smartphones and tablets were nowhere to be seen (aside BlackBerries), music was still played on CDs and some pirating websites were starting to pop up, the PS2 was still the go-to console, and there was SOME economical stability (after the 2001 Argentinian economic crash, and before it plummeted again).

Mooi ge edit en goeie kwaliteit ook! Jammer dat NY niet meer hetzelfde is zonder het WTC.

Well that’s just ridiculous
Damn I was born just two weeks ( five or take ) before this video. Nov 22 93. It’s crazy how fast time goes and how quickly everything changes
The south tower entrance was so beautiful.
WTC were always empty buildings!
5:00 what building is this ? The one with the very slant roofline , truncated top white building.
It's Citigroup Center. Really stands out thanks to the unusual roof
