Hey Valen! Just my way of indicating that it’s a backing with drums and bass only. No chordal instrument (no piano, guitar, etc.)

Thanks for your comment, Serge! While I am aware the bass plays the note F at that moment, I decided to call the chord Dbmaj for some reasons. Let me know what you think! First, In the head statement it's very clearly a Db. When soloing, the harmonic content of the LH at that moment is playing guide tones (3rds and 7ths) of each chord, Wynton plays C and F which points to a Db major 7th and not an F minor. Last, the melodic content outlines more of a Db major, otherwise you would have to call it something like an Fm(b6). I believe calling it an Fm just because the bass player plays the note F sort of undermines the way that chord is functioning, or rather labeling it Fm would be misleading and does not align with what I believe Wynton "meant" Dbmaj7/F may have been a more accurate theoretical depiction, but perhaps not a musically practical one for the educational purpose I intended. Anyways, thank you for watching Serge! It's always great to hear feedback from fellow jazz pianists.
