If she wanted affection from a dog so badly, all she had to do was get her own. A Medical alert dog works with their partner to save their life to make sure nothing happens with them. In this case, her sugar dropping too low. It’s not meant to be a dog that you can play with. The sister-in-law did not use her head. All she needed was to get her own dog, instead she wound up with hefty fines and spent six months in jail because of what she did. How stupid is she?

Very good story for therapy dogs. I’m a retired pediatric nurse. I worked most of 30 year nursing career in a pediatric hospital . The therapy dogs were so important to our patients, helping them deal with trauma, procedures and treatments. They also helped any family members with the patient. And many times the nurses benefited from the dogs too. ❤❤

Those of us with heart 'Issues" severe enough to require a placard and special parking plates have those same issues. I have confronted people over "But you look so healthy". I take a short ton of meds daily and, in additions to very regular specialist visits, and exercise as well as other medical details to help my heart, have limitations on my occupation. I used to be a long haul CDL driver, but my heart problem ended that. A 42 year a career, gone in one hospital visit. My disability is invisible, but it is as real as thunderstorm. There are jobs I would love to do, like construction and getting back into the truck, but it will never be possible.
