Comparison of the response speed of Ambilight + Hue with real Hue Bridge and Ambilight + Hue with Emulated Hue via Home Assistant. For this test, the lamps are still integrated in Home Assistant via the real Hue Bridge, but the Ambilight TV is connected to the emulated Bridge. Lamps from other manufacturers could now also be used with Ambilight + Hue, however they are integrated into Home Assistant.
