This is how the National Grid in the United Kingdom, will implement rolling Blackouts (Power Cuts) in the event of any energy shortages during the winter, some good information here, at least if we know when they will occur, we can be prepared & plan around them.

This building is now permanently closed, the site is to be redeveloped in the next few years. It was built in 1950, along with the Fire station opposite, which is also being relocated to a new site nearby.

Day time view of the last Low Pressure Sodium (SOX) Streetlighting Installation in Portsmouth, before it gets changed to LED. This is the approach road to Port Solent marina complex, it was installed in 1988. The columns & Philips MA50 135w lanterns are mostly original & all are still working. Taken March 2019.

This was a bit of a walk I had around my area, but ended up going further than expected about (2 miles) and ended up at b&m home stores in Farlington!
Honestly i spent 1h hunting my phone/Internet for this video bcos i got a letter today about it. So i really appreciate you posting this.
I wonder how could you legally obtain them for free If you just come at night and take one, then people will be mad, even if after a month they will replace them with led and trow this in the garbage
Great lights, it’s a shame they are now replaced with stinking LED streetlights.
They are replacing with leds that aint good
Its good that I filmed this when I did, as a few months later they were all changed to LED lanterns.
