The game has a bit of a mercy system, where if you're lower than half health, the game gives Chai health pickups upon killing enemies in combat. The system is in effect until you pass half health yourself. That's why you're able to get health back so much. Also yes dashing is faster than walking, you always want to chain your dashes together whenever you can, be it in the overworld or in combat. It's a good way to get around and it's not a bad idea to practice while walking around in missions. It's what I did, same for combos. Feel free to just swing Chai's weapon around and practice while progressing. Also yes, I bought you the Deluxe edition lol. That's why you have the extra gears and the T shirt.

Very "Eyes on the ball no time to explain" type of energy. Ganondorf is the one who will have a lot of lines and he is voiced by Christopher Lee. Yes I know he is dead this is my fantasy. Christopher Lee I feel could make an amazing Ganondorf. For Zelda we naturally need Young and Adult. Young Zelda is wherever. Adult Zelda is voiced by Andrea Parsneu. She is most famous for doing the Narration for The Wandering Inn audiobook. Andrea also voices side characters, even the men. Importantly, Shiek is voiced by Orlando Bloom. This is to throw off the viewers who do not know, but also to hammer down that Shiek in the origonal story is very much supposed to be a dude. The last important character is the Sage that looks like a Christian Monk. He is voiced by Jack Black and it is a very serious role so you don't expect it.

I 100% used the timing assist when I played. I tend to overfocus on trying to remember a combo rather than executing it in time with the music so I take all the help I can get with Rhythm based stuff.

Also I need to go back to this someday. Busy with other games to play tho.

I guess Robbie when voicing Chai pulled some of his Prompto stuff because I can see Prompto being similar to Chai in terms of personality. A lot more compared to either Goro Akechi and Lloyd Bannings.

Since Microsoft was involved with this game Chai's music player would be a Zune.

From what I've heard you need to check your system requirements in regards to desynched audio. I know it fixes itself in gameplay but the cutscene desynch is tough to overcome. Also I like how the first drone you talk to is 05-Kar who I thought red Oskar at first. Glad it wasn't just me who caught that joke.

So far you're getting the hang of it, right now you just need to practice your timing....which will be crucial in the later stages (boss fights especially)

The director of the game had each of the cast's names as placeholders at the time, writing down food items or spices and using them as their names. As development progressed, the other people involved got used to calling them by their names, so the odd names stuck. John Johanas wanted the cast's names to be fun, not stereotyped as a "western name" or a "japanese name" or what have you. Hense why Chai is called Chai, and the other characters are named what they are. Also, the director was heavily inspired by Scott Pilgrim vs The World, Edgar Wright movies, (Shaun of the Dead in particular) and other playful action games like Viewtiful Joe and Jet Set Radio. Oh, and Smidge is voiced by the director, John Johanas. He did a great job in my opinion.

It's okay Comic, I also get controls mixed up when I'm playing on Steam. Mostly because my only controller is a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and most games on Steam treat it like an Xbox controller, meaning that every new game starts with me going into the options menu and changing the face button controls and hoping it feels natural enough.

I hope you get to play the sequel when it comes out.

I would have liked to see Pizza Tower, but it's not as major as say, Crosscode or Valkyria Chronicles or Sexy Brutale. Those games have good story, and I like your blind reactions to them (granted, you have a tendency to guess some of the major twists in advance, but that's also fun). Pizza Tower is fun to play, and absolutely buttery smooth in the execution, but for story, there's pretty much an excuse plot, and that's it.

You know, its interesting to see he is a "Candidate Ideal for: Garbage Collecting" when that becomes how he essentially summons his combat guitar.

My dear Comic, this game is going to FUCKING CHUG!! if it's not too late. I'd recommend recording it through an Xbox one ore something.

I tried commenting a bit ago and it doesn't look like it saved.) I'm currently playing through Beastieball. It's really enjoyable, and encourages more strategy in story mode than Pokémon usually does. Hope the New Year treats you well.

So, something to note is all the Smith's deaths are ironic: Dan talked a big game, but couldn't back it up. Now he can do whatever the hell he wants (Like killing one of the Handsome Men, a battle he was fated to lose). Mask was killed in the shower with his mask off while he was vulnerable, now whenever he wears the mask, he's invincible. Con didn't hear the Emir approaching because he had headphones on, now he's the member with the best hearing. Coyote was out maneuvered, and now he can go to places the other members cant. Kevin hid behind a poor disguise (Yes, he was the Bellhop). Now he can just straight up turn invisible. Kaede tried to hide behind a barrier that failed her. Now she can break any barrier she wants. A UA-camr I watch who did a Let's Play of this game theorises Harmon and Kun Lan are forces of nature, not actual people, hence them being alive a thousand years later, even after we've seen them die multiple times over the course of the story. And yes, if you killed Matsuoka, you would've gotten a different ending. Killer8 is a mode which unlocks a younger Harmon as a playable character, however, to offset this, you can't see enemy weakpoints. After beating it, you get Hopper7 Mode which is just the first level but with an easy to kill joke enemy that's just to ease the tension from Killer8 mode.

Killer 8 is essentially a NG+. The new feature? You can now play as Young Harman Smith.

Yes Kevin was the bellhop killed at the beginning and now you know the truth of the Killer 7, honestly my whole take on the game's story Harmon and Kun-lan are beings of war and peace (gods maybe?) and they make an appearance whenever war or peace becomes dominant in the world to change the balance just whatever is causing war or peace is backdrop of their battlefield I could be wrong but this game does make you think a few Suda51 games do that, anyway one last thing: The original game had a Killer 8 mode where a young Harmon Smith could be one of the characters you can play through the entire game and if I remember correctly he used a tommy gun I think there was a code to enter but it could've been for to unlock 50 vials of serum for upgrades it's been a while since I played the game it could be done as a quick bonus episode

I feel like the ending is Suda 51 doing a parody of twist endings. It is something he would do.

killer7, the game so perplexing that it has an iron grip on your brain space. I think the very end in particular is fascinating, mainly in that Harman and Kun Lan seem to say the opposites of their lines from the first time, e.g. “You’re awake from your dream.” Vs. “You’re awake from your nightmare.”

So all the Soul Shells you collected on the first half of Smile, up the hotel: They were the shells that killed your other 6 personas.
