Beaverhead Antlers
United States
Приєднався 25 гру 2014
Born and raised brothers (and Ryan) from Montana, but gradually spreading to the rest of the West. We live for the great outdoors. Our videos are almost entirely public land, accessible to anyone! The struggle to find success is what makes the payoff so good! This page has two main focuses but with variety as well! Springtime: scouting for bulls, traveling the west, and picking up big Ol’ Browns! Miles for Piles!
Fall: more scouting, chasing rutting bulls in September with our bows, and hunting late rifle seasons along migration lines and in learned winter areas. Always happy to give pointers to those in need, and always looking for new opportunities to grow our knowledge. Leave a comment on our videos, we enjoy interacting with you!

Some dang nice bulls! I would have trouble passing a couple of those. Good luck filling your tag.
Wyoming doesn’t have units.
I suppose technically they’re called “hunt areas” but everywhere else calls them units! Same thing
What unit are you stomping around in
Just got out of public land this am in oregon. Fair chasing is still what's up. Good luck
@@herdbull thank you! You as well!
Great videos hope you keep them coming!
Appreciate the support! We will
I had to stop at: “So we’re going to hike in…”, then fires up an ATV and hits the trail.
@@daviddemand6856 had to take the atv to the trailhead then we hiked camp in about 3 miles!
Thanks for the share. Practice your calling this off season. I'd also concider wearing a hat that is not so bright. You were in elk every day, nice area. Scouting done well.
Calling can always use some work, though I’ve called in 4 bulls to under 20 yards, so it must be convincing enough! The hat suggestion is noted. Been a fun year in elk, next video I get into them again
@@Beaverhead_Antlers those rag horns will always come in. If your cow calls were a bit sexier those herd bulls would run in. Took me a couple of years to figure this out. Nail a big one!
Fun seeing the bulls. Odd though, that you both wear full camo clothes, then put on light colored hats that stuck out like sore thumbs. Your head is always the highest, most visible point. Buy a cheap camo or dark hat- it couldn't hurt. Seems to help us. Nice video 👍
Live and learn, good luck in the rifle season guys👍🏻
Thank you!! Excited to get back out there!
@@Beaverhead_Antlers 👍🏻
You have way more restraint than me. That was cool, days like that don't happen often
At least you saw plenty of bulls! Hope you connect on a nice bull during rifle season!! Good luck with everything my friends!
Thank you! And thanks for always watching appreciate the support over the years!
Good luck my friend!
Good luck hunting this season👍🏻
Headed out in the morning, should be fun!
@@Beaverhead_Antlers 👍🏻
U guys are trash wht a waste of meat
Taking horses back in there this year. Can't wait!
We are planning on returning as well, see ya there!
We are actually trying to set up a ride in/out so if ur looking for company, let us know!
.... 0 ...... ....... ........ 0 . ......... ..... .....
Congratulations!! I love it, goes to show you don't need all the horses to get it done. Great job.
Indeed it does! Tough hunting though!
Would love to come hang cameras with ya some year. Just give me a week or two notice. I'm over in salmon idaho. Love checking out new areas. I just hit new area today and rolled into an old spot I used to hit and flipped 4 bones
Sounds fun! Maybe someday!
Looks like burn weed 😮
Nice work!
Fantastic layout!
Cool finds congratulations
Hit a pocket today that was 100-150 yards farther than I was a month ago. I already had 11 on my pack back then and picked 5 more today all about 100 yards apart. I would of never been able to carry it had I found it a month ago. Good work.
Thats a drastic decline in one year. Hopefully you just didnt have the best luck or enough time
Time is something I wish I had infinity of! Started a new job in a new town so figuring out new country!
@@Beaverhead_Antlers right on man. Congrats on the new job. Down here in south Florida we don't find many sheds. More dead heads than anything.
Not a hunter so dumb question coming - is it the antlers that determines the points or something else?
Number of points is a combo of measurements added together
If you plan them it'll grow a deer😂
I'm late
Late for what?
Cool video, I love In Pinedale Wyoming and she’d hunt up here but the elk sheds get nowhere near as big as Jackson’s. I mainly like to look for deer sheds though. Cool video fun to watch.
Glad you liked it! I’d love to get up that way and find some good deer sheds someday. I never have
You were on them that trip! Thanks for sharing buddy!
Definitely got into a few!
Man that looks fun. That Jackson hole shed run was a bucket list one for me that I couldn’t ever make happen and unfortunately probably never will get to now. Cool video tbough
I’m sorry to hear that, it is a cool experience. There are a handful of WMA openers that’ll give you the same type of experience though!
@@Beaverhead_Antlers yeah I’ve get a couple of those here locally and unfortunately every year as your driving up at midnight you can see anywhere from 5-15 headlamps already up on the hill hiking. Dang shame and super frustrating. That doesn’t include the people that had already scooped up elk sheds they saw previously. Poaching sheds is bad around here
Yeah I imagine it’s not great here either. I’ve had a few spots I’ve hit that I know had bulls where I found nothing. No fresh horse/boot track and no antlers. Didn’t make any sense
You moved to Wyoming huh partner? No more beaver head national forest man..
I’ve been living down here for two years, yes sir. I still make time to come back and spend time in the stomping grounds though
Congratulations! Great goat! I put in for 30 yrs and never could draw a tag, of course as luck would have it, my nephew drew one on his try…lol. To do it with your sons had to be real special!
Nice finds congratulations great hard work
Thank you!
wow
Thank you for sharing my friends!
Keeper pile set there wowzers kudos 👏
100%
Just turned someone in today for driving a four wheeler where ever he wanted to got video of him and everything pisses me off I get that we might not be the 1st people in but it sucks to walk into a spot your not supposed to drive in and see four wheeler or razer tracks everywhere
Nice set don’t find many elk antlers with bends after the royal
Nice to see someone out getting those sheds
Good job you two, awesome finds! Really cool sheds, I loveit!
Definitely was a fun couple days
So what you gonna leave all that prime meat from the dear behind? What a disgrace if you are
Cool finds congratulations
Very cool!
Great finds! Thank you for sharing my friends!
Thanks for watching !
Well you can't expect to be 1st in every spot every year especially multiple states my guy you stackin bone don't know how it gets any better truly.
Yeah just frustrating sometimes! Still happy with how it turned out though
@@Beaverhead_Antlers I totally understand that, when I 1st started some 40 years ago I would beg people to go out hiking & then in 90 the market came along to north Idaho & late 90s it jumped to 32$ elk & 28$ deer then everyone & their granny was looking for sheds since lol obviously the market bounced around like that rubber dodgeball back in school then leveled off mid 2010s to basically what we have today. Happy trails safe travels heavy pax & deep stax !!
Can't complain about that day !
Certainly not!
Them shots are wayyyyy off! 👀
Oh they definitely were
Solid run brother
Thank you!
Nothing worse than lazy poachers! Hate how people are getting these days with their off-roading.
Oh well! Just gotta get in a few days earlier next year
I mean what's that at 3.09 lol. Idk
Not sure what you’re referring to?
NICE
You're kidding yourselves if you really think a grizzly couldn't get your meat out of that scraggly little tree. Consider yourselves extremely lucky a bear didn't find it before you got it out.
I’m sure one could’ve gotten it, where we packed it, it was the only tree we could even get it into. I agree, not ideal. Still better than leaving it at the kill site or on the ground. It was only in that tree for ~24 hours before it was shuttled to somewhere safe. Didn’t have a choice.
Rad!! 🤙
