Longer cruises offer a greater opportunity to get to know the room stewards. If I frequent a bar and get great service, I tip. On longer cruises I often tip on the first day or so, then more each fee days over the cruise.

Employment contracts vary. Yes, the talented crew makes each cruise amazing.

I agree. I know on our most recent cruise our server said she was able to get off the ship for a few hours in the afternoon. It was Hawaii. I'm sure she was happy to get any time off.

@joieb340 It can also depend on the itinerary and their roster if the crew can go off on some ports. Often, servers and bar staff can help during the disembarkion process, guiding passengers off the ship.

You tip the amount you can afford and a comfortable with. Your next cruise will be amazing. ❤️🛳

I can recall struggling booking online. I went to the office to book a seat. The Wadi Rum route usually goes via Petra. It leaves Amman early in the morning. It gets to Wadi Musa Petra about midday. The bus waits half an hour, collects more passengers, and goes off to the Wadi Rum visitor centre

@@julescruisecompanion omg I love going downstairs on a cruise. But 1 time I was wearing 5 inch heels and I tripped and rolled down 17 stairs. I hopped back up and I was fine but I’m never gonna wear those heels again

Like I play netball and I will slide across the entire concrete court with blood dripping down my face and I will hop back up and say I’m fine so this girl was actually speechless lol

No, not in this room. Just the settee that becomes a bed. You might be able to ask for a coffee table. I found the bench space and bedside tables ok because I use magnets on the walls to take items off horizontal surfaces. Using the vertical space is a game changer. Happy Cruising ❤️ 🛳

Jordan is very safe

The plan for a day pass didn't work out unfortunately. The people I spoke to during the cruise enjoyed their experience. Maybe another vlogger will have more information. Happy Cruising

It has been a rocky journey. I struggle to stay carnivore when travelling. I feel so much better physically and psychologically when carnivore. There are so many health benefits. Stay carnivore strong

I like to stay walking distance to Circular Quay. I head to Haymarket sometimes. I've stayed at YEHS and Criterion Hotel, both were at the lower end of the price point (and unique). There was one cruise my cruise buddy chose the hotel, it was under $200 per person which was about the same as my solo cheap hotel experiences. Have a great visit to Sydney and an amazing cruise.

According to the P&O website Self-service laundryAll laundries onboard are open from 7:30am - 10pm. The sample costs for this service are: $3.50 per wash cycle. $3.50 for the dryer per cycle. For the ships laundry service, there is a laundry bag and price list in your wardrobe. You just fill in the form, and they'll come and pick it up and deliver it back to your cabin at a per item price. On longer cruises, some companies have a wash and fold offer, where you fill a paper laundry bag for around $20.

I continue to find 1Cover in my price range. I often do a comparison with other providers, but always come back to 1Cover. I always get South Pacific Cruise coverage because reading the PDS, there is no medical cover for domestic cruises.

@@julescruisecompanion thank you for your reply. We used to use 1cover but discovered that it there is an excess of $3000 if over 81 so now changed to Cover-More which is more expensive due to pre-existing conditions.

@@SoniaJager Pre-existing conditions increase the premiums horribly. I did notice an increase in the excess probably because I am still under 60 (just). Calculating the excess when making a claim could still be more economical that the out of pocket expenses if you didn't have any insurance cover at all. I advocate for travel insurance that suits a person's individual needs is important. Stay Safe, Happy Travels

Cruises will nickle & dime everybody these days. The food is so blah now, that I usually lose about 5 lbs on a 10 day trip. I eat better…salads…and I eat less. Once upon a time, the food on ships was outstanding & served past midnight. Now, the only food after 9:30p is Pizza. Cheese or pepperoni.

Interesting I hope the cruise industry blooms, it is great way to see the world. I've been privileged to see so much of the world thanx to cruising. My next chapter of my life will be just as interesting. Stay Safe and Happy Travels
