The thing that separates Uncharted 3 from 2 is that the action is almost non stop, you don’t get a big break from it all. In Uncharted 2 you get a couple of breaks around chapters 17 and 18x which helps slow the pace of the story. It’s not a bad thing at all, in fact the action in Uncharted 3 is absolutely amazing and there were so many moments that had me on the edge of my seat as did Uncharted 2 However, what makes Uncharted 2 superior is in fact the story, gameplay, character development and its villain. Lazarević is absolutely the best villain in the franchise, he makes Marlowe and Talbot look like kittens.

Wish uncharted 4 had the same combat

Uncharted 2 has the best third person multiplayer game ever and with crossover skins from other games , i wish they remake Uncharted 2 multiplayer and i'm sure a lot of people still want to play it

You are complaining about the game throwing too much grenades when this is the single uncharted game with the ability to throw back grenades, If there are 2 grenades thrown changing cover won't kill you if you strategically roll around to the nearest piece of cover and firing while running. Enemies shooting behind you smh that's literally something called flanking, the game will obviously punish you if you aren't constantly looking around for flanking enemies or changing to a better piece of cover, the enemies are bullet spongy because they want to encourage you to get headshots, I don't see a problem with that especially because there are always some powerful weapons laying around, at the second half of the video you legit started complaining about the game difficulty something that isn't the game's fault like there isn't a lower difficulty than normal, I beat this game on brutal three times and I never complained once, you comparing gameplay complexity of fighting games to third person shooters is one of the most ridiculous things so far, a difficulty in a third person shooter is aiming tactical thinking etc not memorizing diffrent inputs for attacks or combos like in the games you've mentioned of course they're gonna have more mechanics than a shooter

Besides the annoying grab button being the same as the cover button, the combat in Uncharted 3 is the best in the trilogy. Throwing grenades back at enemies never becomes less fun. I just completed the whole trilogy over the last week and whilst the combat in 2 and 3 are extremely fun, 3 is just more exciting.

I'm gonna disagree with your takes about superhero movies, any film that is made (unless it is free to watch) is a cashgrab. It doesn't make the films bad or "not films" just cause you don't like the films coming out. That's like me saying that Saints Row 2022 is not a video game just because I didn't think it was too great from what I played of it. I feel like the term cashgrab is just arbitrary and nonsensical. Every film is a cashgrab if you have to pay to watch it.

Uncharted 3 is… umm… 😬 But Uncharted 4 is very story driven and has lots more character development and emotion to it than most if not all prior Uncharted games 🫨

No. Just no. I've just finished the first game again about a week ago, and am now getting with the second one again. the last time I played through the series was about four years ago, And they both hold up extremely well (in The Nathan Drake Collection; U1 possibly doesn't hold up as well *on PS3,* but in the collection they refined the controls, aiming, grenades etc. to be more in line with the later ones). The *only* area where I felt U1 has become a bit dated is that the game occasionally misunderstands if you want to roll or enter cover - emphasis on *occasionally*, but nowhere near enough to hinder the gameplay in any significant way. Other than that, out of all your points of criticism, the only one I'll concede is that the plot of1-3, and The Lost Legacy, is quite simplistic. But so are the plots in Indiana Jones and the Tomb Raider games, which the entire franchise was heavily inspired by. It's by and large a "fun, light-hearted romp"-type action flick, which doesn't try to be anything dark or heavy handed. The fact that Nate kills dozens to hundreds of people throughout the game, and is still played up to be a hero, is also a staple of that same kind of swashbuckling adventure stories - and it works within that context because it's always in self-defense. Plus, you say it isn't addressed in the game, but it actually is, twice - once in the opening act when Nate vehemently refuses to bring lethal weapons to the museum heist, and once again when you beat Lazarevic, and he says: "you think I am a monster... but how many people have you killed, just today?" The fact you say the gameplay is bad or boring baffles me. I don't know what to tell you. Just... go home, you're drunk.
