Thank you so much! My radiator was leaking trans fluid at the cooler lines connection. Can you clarify if I need to tighten just the fist line that connects to the port or the other part that connects the actual fitting to the radiator? Judging by what you have explained it shouldn't be the latter because of that connection was loose that should actually cause a coolant leak. Please let me know if I am right or wrong.

The procedure is to weight down the brake pedal and remove the axle nut, then remove the brake/rotor before moving onto the hub assembly. There's no need for a DIY jig to stop the wheel from turning, and lowering the wheel to the ground is not something that should ever be done.

Thanks for the video, very helpful. I just ordered an electrical teperature gauge and 40mm adapter on amazon, I'm going to give it a go. A friend of mine told me about fuse taps that plug directly into the fuse box without having to cut into the wiring harness, so I'm going that route. (It's essentially a splitter, that adds a wire and an additional fuse for the accesory you are adding.) Might be worth looking into for anyone reading this like who like me, isn't that confident about splicing directly into the vehicle's wire harness to access the power circuits.

Fischer and Pykel are rubbish machines a decent machine should not do this stupid out of balance alarm my mum had an old Hoover machine that gave up the ghost after 35 years and didnt need a thing done to it except replace the taps and hoses. If the manufacturer knows this issue why do they keep making it this way ? why not add the extra springs in when it comes off the line ? I know load of people who all complain with the same issue on this brand of machhine which I wont buy again as they complete rubbish .
