@@CrimKat. the way ps3 runs ps1 and 2 games is not great. I would just run ps3 through hdmi and just let it upscale what is essentially 480p.

My D-Terminal knowledge is limited in that I know it's a Japanese exclusive method to get YPbPr into devices and that you can buy a D-Terminal to Component converter. My knowledge legitimately ends there and i can't suggest anything specific besides trying a D-Terminal to SCART (not JP-21) adapter or a D-Terminal to Component adapter. Sorry I can't be of more help!

@@kingdomspds for the purpose of simplicity there's no effective difference, but some effects break on any hardware that isn't a ps1. You can probably notice additional dithering on many games but it's not a deal breaker. There's an example on the wiki link in the description.

It also has composite/S-video on the front

@@gorankarasic6098 that's exactly correct. If you have an Android phone or any modern tablet you can use the usb-c side of the memory card reader to connect it to that device and do it there.

@@Readmit Sonic Mega Collection does not naturally output 240p the same way these games do, you'll have to either use prescale with 480p in the rt4k or force the game to 240p with swiss Of course either way, your game won't look right when you enter 480i scenes, like the multiplayer in sonic 2

@@kekff7710 there's nothing to calculate: these numbers were told to us by the console developers in industry documents. The trick is that most of these consoles have lowest common multiples that they share and the rt4k can use math to easily sus that out.

@@jessecutts4868 all of the videos i make are for optimizing picture and already come as profiles, I'm just showing off one way profiles get there To answer your question, using the rt4k is as easy as turning it on and selecting your input, it's on 4:3 by default with generic settings

The gamecube version has 4:2:2 color while the ps2 version does not. The gamecube version, for whatever reason, has one column of pixels missing for megaman x but I didn’t check x2 for that.

@@matthewporcaro1746 you should only be doing 7 for GameBoy or GameBoy Color, you need to make sure effects are off, and finally if the blur is horizontal you can mess with the initial phase. Most other NSO games use input pixels 4 AFTER you force the games to integer scale 1:1

Yes Sorry forgot to mention this was for gameboy games I have classic feel and small screen turned off I tried the initial phase but it just shifts the blur around Is there some sort of setting I’m missing or perhaps have turned on that I shouldn’t that you can think of? I’ll keep tinking but if you can think of anything else that would cause this And thanks for the quick reply!

I may have stumbled upon the issue Under TV settings on switch my screen size was set to 98% Changing it to 100% fixed the blur issues but now I need to figure out whatever overscan is happening

1080 I think I fixed it Switch screen size was not set to 100% I need to fix overscan now cause part of the image is off screen now

@@Adam-ru3fi component uses 3 for video and the two for audio go elsewhere, like the 3.5mm input, the stereo in the front, or the stereo in the back

@@MrMoroPlays makes things quite hard wish Mike chi added components in the front allowing you to use composite and a video as needed going to need a tink 2x flowing to the 4K or universal component cables

Somewhat It does upscale to 4k and adds HDR I like to put filters on the switch it makes some games look real crisp
