Hi y'all and welcome to my garden and vlog channel. The majority of this channel will be dedicated to my gardening hobby and the rest to the occasional "slice of life" events. I garden in zone 9a in the Houston area but I hope you can take away some tips and tricks from a newbie gardener. You can expect several gardening failures and maybe a few successes while i get down and dirty. Lets dig in!

First garden video that shows my little suburban garden and a late summer crop planting.
You make a great video but don’t answer many questions. Are you still doing videos?
Thank you for your advice about Crape Myrtle’s.
stupid neighbor. very disrespectful. you have a right to have peace and quiet in your own yard and enjoy the sounds of nature and talk to God and ask Him to bless your garden!
Thankyou. Great video. Sorry you have to suffer that ignorant neighbor
Thank you for very informative video
Sturdy deisgn! This is something to work towards eventually. I was surprised at the price of second hand conduit and t posts where I am .For now will use plastic covered 8ft stakes and jute twine.
can you put the tpost in the ground by just digging a hole and filling it in?
Great info, thank you. How did you get your green thumb? Did you study horticulture?
Organic foolishness
I like it.
Does the bar sit on top of the T post or does it butt up against the T post on the ends? Thank you!
So you don’t have to kill them somehow after you scrub them off?
Birds might prefer a shallower water depth. They also like being next to a small shrub so they can land before and after going in the birdbath. How did your work out?
The best thing for these is systemic drench. It will take a few weeks for it to be affective but it can last a year. Home improvement stores carry it. Bayer makes a good one. It's not cheap and it won't wash the mold for you.
Wow i was so excited to see a Gardening channel then saw you have not posted in two years =( i hope you come back i think this would be a great channel!
Black carbon from sulphuric acid sprayed in atmosphere by aircraft. Global warming.
the t-post driver i bought for $20 a few years ago was the best $ i've ever spent on a tool.
A two pound sledge hammer does fine in our sandy soil and is easy to handle.
What additional couplers did you use to get a snug fit?
Thanks for this video. It was a big help!!
Any update on the scale?
Great video! Subscribed! Hope all is well in your garden as I don’t see any updates.
Love your videos❤️! I found you when I was trying to find videos on how to treat crepe myrtle black sooty mold.
Great info on removing the mold. Scales and Aphids contribute to the honeydew which is sugar and the mold feed on the sugars exceeded by the pest. If you don't see scale bugs, look under the leaves for aphids. Because the mold on he bark if from scales, if they are on the leaves that mold if from aphids.
Just what I was looking for. I have 2 that are dormant now about the same size as yours that are covered in soot so I'll give the soap and water treatment a try and use the orchard spray. I thought initially this might have been from the Snow storm we had last year, 7 inches here in Austin, lost my Wax Myrtle and a Cherry Laurel from the Ice but the Crape myrtles survived. Thank you again
its feb can i scrub them while they are still dormant?
It’s February and my trees are black I’m also in Houston can I wash them before they start budding?
It is February now, I am in Austin , I have the exact problem with my crepe Myrtle , I have the same Q Can I wash them now with soup and water? Is your tree back to normal now ? Thx
Great information thanks
Good information, looks like the Katy area.
What's the update with your trees?
Great idea for top support. I was thinking of how to use a post cap for this purpose. 👍🏽 I have to see if the couplers will match up, I have reducer options that work well. I’m thinking of using 3/4” conduit.
Will you be able to provide your bill of materials? The size of the conduit pipe, and the couplers?
I guess it's ancient history at this point, but pretty sure that's 1/2" conduit pipe. Still only $6 at Depot for 10'. Elbow and couplers are 1 1/4"
Hi...Was trying to do this today as I just came back from Lowes with T posts . Did you use 3/4 inch conduit? Thank you young man!
Nice, job Kid!
what is the length of the conduit, 10 ft?
Good harvest, will need to try growing carrots
Nice, I've been using my fence as a trellis hopefully my neighbors are still ok with it.
Good stuff, it also helps squirrels and mice from Texas heat too.
Subbing and checking out your content. Looks like you have a lot growing back there!
Where do you live? I hope you watch my videos through to the ends and enjoy them.
