Project Budde No Dig Fencing
A quick showing of a fence we put up. I forgot to record while we were doing the fencing. It didn't take long to set up and gives you a sturdy fence as well as the ability of it to be removed with ease.
Hope you enjoy and it is potentially helpful.

Project Budde Camper Bathroom Ceiling Replacement
Переглядів 26Місяць тому
SORRY FOR THE GOOFY CAMERA ANGLES..Used my Iphone, not my Go Pro. After replacing the Skylights, I needed to address the ceiling panel. I think it worked out okay for now and I might need to do some adjustments on some of the trim, but for the most part, I have addressed areas that needed to be fixed. #project #budde #projectbudde #diy #camper #camperrepair #camperrenovation #camperbathroom #ca...
Project Budde Camper Stairs Upgrade & Build
Переглядів 422 місяці тому
We wanted to make the stairs at our camper a little more usable when we went in and out. Many other campers have this set up at our campground. It was easy to build and didn't take a lot of time. A great new set up that is more like you are going out onto a small deck than just some steps. #project #budde #projectbudde #camper #camperstairs #diy #permanentcamping #campground #camperrepair #camp...
Project Budde Portable Carplay Radio Install
Переглядів 102 місяці тому
I bought a portable Carplay Stereo for my car. It can be removed and used in other vehicles that do not have Carplay type radios or navigation. I have some older cars and can have it play through the radio in the car by an FM frequency or plugged directly into an Auxillary Input on my radio. I could also use a cassette adapter in another car if needed. I didn't want to replace the whole radio, ...
Project Budde Camper Skylight Replacement

We have a Fifth Wheel Camper and the skylight in the shower was leaking. So this is how we replaced it and the process you need to go through. It took some time and it helped having a helper on the caulk removal. I hope it is helpful for those who need to do this. #project #projectbudde #budde #diy #skylight #skylightreplacement #fifthwheel #camper #camping #camperrepair #skylightrepair

Amateur Radio Ham Radio Antenna Build

I am an Amateur Radio Operator, KC8EGD, and I wanted to build a new antenna. I found this from some ARRL magazines and I put a link to a site that is a similar build. I did not have all of the same connectors in the build, but since I am running low power, 5 watts, I didn't see it as creating an issue. I hope you enjoy. www.kb6nu.com/21-things-to-do-build-an-antenna/ #project #budde #buddy #pro...
Project Budde Add On Blinds
Переглядів 217 місяців тому
These are some blinds that my wife picked up. We have always wanted to put some blinds on that door, but never got around to it. I thought we would have to buy a whole new piece of glass, but no, this is an add on. It was really easy to do and probably took me about 15 minutes. Really great idea if you have one of these doors, instead of putting up window blinds. #budde #project #projectbudde #...
1993 Ford Thunderbird Cruise Control Troubleshooting & Testing

Sorry for the orientation. I was using my Iphone and didn't realize it would do this. I will know for the future. I have not had cruise control since I bought the car. I love to use cruise control, so I wanted to fix it. Since I had the repair manual that I had bought, it helped me to troubleshoot it. Once I was able to see that the ON switch didn't seem to work, I had an area to look at to tes...

1993 Ford Thunderbird Stabilizer Link
Переглядів 249 місяців тому
Replaced a stabilizer link. It seemed easy at first but ran into some issues. The flexible brake line going to the caliper was in the way, so I had to remove it. It is best to take the nuts totally off of the stabilizer link, for I ran into issues with it spinning. I put the caliper hose back on, but was not aware that you need to replace the "banjo washers". I found that out from some friends ...
1993 Ford Thunderbird Alternator Replacement

Replacement of the alternator. It was sort of spotty at times, and then looked like it was going to go out soon, so I replaced it. Not exactly the type of alternator I wanted, since it didn't have the plug, but we made it work. Perhaps I should have looked to see if it was a plug in type, vs a hard wire type. Hope this is helpful #projectbudde #project #budde #alternator #alternatorreplacement ...
1993 Ford Thunderbird Shock Absorber Repair
Переглядів 369 місяців тому
I found that the "clunking" noise in the rear of my car was due to a shock absorber not attached. Quick fix. I just got a new bolt and put it back into place. Not a ton to learn here, but maybe helpful. If you have a problem, don't just assume it is one thing, investigate it. This ended up being a really easy fix. Look for the least possible problem, before replacing an expensive one. For insta...

Every unit we found last time I replaced it had to have the wires connected separately like you had. Even the ones that showed they had a plug! I’m having to replace the alternator four months later due to a mistake I made…under warranty thankfully. And I feel the same, not just about the alternator but about the whole bird, unfortunately… when it’s dead it’s gone. It’s been a money pit and got me where it would how it wanted when it wanted, but it was in my price range. Thanks for the video!

Thanks for watching. For what I paid, it was a good car and the engine was awesome. It was fun to work on. I sold it to a family member and lost money, but he has more time to work on the other stuff. It needed a lot of steering system work and it was not worth putting the money into. I am glad you enjoyed the video and really appreciate you watching. It was a fun little car for the short time I owned it.

Yeah, after it coughed past the ignition issue when I first got it, it was great, always started up, super reliable, even with the annoying “ford whine” from the power steering. I was looking forward to the project after rebuilding the suspension and was about to get into the lines when money got tight and I had to start driving distances for work, it killed the poor thing. Good on you for sending it to a new home, instead of scrapping it. I fear we won’t see as many unique cars in the future and, like this bird sure looks like a toad to me. Take care!

Imagine someone's already mentioned it, but I knew right away that the problem was inside the motor.. common problem for these motors. Inside are three round bushings that are used to drive the outer gear. They disintegrate. If you still have the old motor, open it up and you'll see what I mean.

Thanks for the comment, and watching the channel. I didn't take it apart to find out, but I was aware of that issue. It is just easier to replace the motor, and it was not much money.

    • @tombudde
      @tombudde 10 місяців тому

I don't have a link, but I bought it from Menards. You just want to make sure you don't get metal screen. You probably want to do the test that I did and get a small piece of the old screen and then a small piece of the new screen and "melt" it together. I'm glad that you are enjoying the videos and I am hoping they are helpful!! THANKS A BUNCH FOR WATCHING AND THE QUESTION!!

We have a 1991 coleman that's in great shape OTHER than the one gable end fabric "fluff" (3m stuff) has holes in the and leaks. How would you suggest to fix or replace because we can't find any solutions?!

    • @projectbudde351
      @projectbudde351 Рік тому

Well, I am not an expert, more of a jack of all trades or just try stuff. not certain what you mean by fabric fluff (3M stuff). If it is fabric, then I would try Iron on patches. You can get them from a fabric store. That took care of a few small holes I had and you can match it pretty easy to the fabric. It won't be an exact match, but should do the trick. You may want to put it on the inside and outside. Just a thought, for I don't know how big the hole is. If it is where the fabric joins together that is sewed together, you may need to get some fabric or the iron on patches and put it on, but also sew it into place. I used an Awl needle with strong thread. It takes some time, but it worked well. I had to do it where a section tore, and I had to sew it back in place. The Awl Needle you can find at a fabric store as well and there are many videos on UA-cam that can show you how to use it. If it is leather or vinyl part that is usually at the bottom, I have used duct tape and it works. They come in many colors, so you may find a similar color as well. Thanks for watching the channel and videos, I really appreciate it!! Hope the information above helps.
